Small but perfectly formed

  • 5 of 5
Alessandro was welcoming and friendly and the apartment was just what we needed for our short stay. Be aware though that the steps to the bedroom would not be great if you have mobility issues or small children - or too much wine. The area is busy and vibrant. Excellently located to explore all the historical amazingness of Roma.

8 days in Rome

  • 5 of 5
The apartment is small but clean and it’s in a great location. Even though the apartment is small it has everything you need for the stay, I mean you’re in Rome so you shouldn’t be sitting in the apartment anyway. There is a terrace so you have somewhere to sit and have your morning coffee…one commit would be to let Alessandro know you would like to use it as it was unavailable to us for a weekend as the other renters wanted to use it.The best thing about the apartment is the location! If you came to Rome to walk the city than this is the best place to be, it’s an easy walk to all the major site seeing attractions (Roman Forum, Pantheon, Vatican…etc). The neighborhood is also great, a lot of great restaurants, shops, grocery shops and possibly the best part is it’s a lot less touristy as other parts of the city.

2-Months in Trastevere

  • 5 of 5
Our little pie-de terre in Trastevere for 2 months was delightful, this well appointed, small apartment is so well located that it is not necessary to have a car. Walked to the Jewish ghetto, the Tiber river, Vatican and the medieval streets of Trastevere. Tons of wonderful cafés, wine bars, trattorias and other fun places to explore and sit an have a beer or espresso. We adopted Bar Calisto, just minutes away as our other living room in Trastevere for coffee, gelato, cafe correto, sfugatto, etc.
Alessandro is very knowledgeable for any questions about shopping, wine buying, hair cut and other items we needed during our long stay.
Walking up the Juniculum is beautiful, there is a great bakery downstairs from the apartment, smelling the fresh bread and pizza Bianca was terrific!

Great location - close to all the fun

  • 5 of 5
We had a great stay at the small but lovely Casa Trilussa apartment in August. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Very clean and well stocked with quality bed linen, towels, cutlery, china and kitchen appliances. Plus the location was perfect for touring Rome. We were able to walk to most of the major attractions and also used public transport which was only a few minutes away. The night life in the area was great fun and we ate out at different restaurant every night (happy hour at most of the bars was a bonus). Alessandro was a great host who meet us when we first arrived in the area and offered to help us with anything we required which was very reassuring. Don’t be put off by the street view this is a great little apartment for the adventurous traveller. The staircase to the upper level also provided a lot of laughs ...

Compact with fantastic location

  • 5 of 5
I booked this apartment for a surprise 10th wedding anniversary as my wife has always wanted to go to italy and ive been told that rome was the place to go and to hire an apartment as its far more relaxing than a hotel, how true those words were,i wanted a one bedroom apartment and this was perfect, very clean, neat and tidy, the living room/kitchen area is very convenient and the bedroom and en suite was just right, the bed was perfect for a good nights sleep after days tramping the beautiful streets of rome, the stairs are quite steep it makes the apartment seem like a tree house which is very unique, alessandro was very helpful in everything to do with the apartment, from booking to helpful tips when we needed his advice,he was the perfect host and was always on hand to help, the apartment is perfectly situated in the vibrant area of trastevere where there are is an absolute plethora of restaurants and bars all within the front door, the streets are absolutely buzzing at night, especially on saturdays,as mike has said earlier the streets are quite loud from about 10ish until 2ish but if you had the days we had you will have no problems getting a good nights sleep ready for thd next days exploring,we only could do 2 days and thats nowhere near enough time in this fantastic city,to sum the apartment up i would advise anyone to rent this place as its perfectly situated and perfectly assembled for relaxing after a days touring around rome and alessandro is an absolute gentleman who is always ready to help, arrivaderci alessandro, thanks for all your help,we cant wait to come backto your great apartment

Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5
Firstly, Alessandro was so helpful he helped us getting to the Beach, provided a well informed pack stating all the info we needed as well as allowing us to stay an extra half day due to our flights being later in the day.

Location is also perfect! We walked to the Colloseum, Vatican and Spanish steps etc (we loved walking and exploring). The apartment is located within a lively area full of bars, restaurants and cafes.

Finally, would highly recommend this apartment to anyone was clean, not to big and not to small with all the necessary items.
