Like Discovering a Wonderful Place You'd Love to Call Home
This spacious cabin provided our family with a beautiful, comfortable place to relax for the brief time we were there - truly a return to sanity! It is an understatement to say that it is well-equipped and lovingly maintained. The woodworking skills of the owners and their sense of what visitors want and need in a vacation cabin are evident in every room! The many places inside and outside the cabin to sit and talk, read, or nap, including down next to the gorgeous river, are wonderful for those of us who long for solitude and a quiet respite from the rest of the world. You could forget the rest of the world existed in this special neck of the woods!
The owners were gracious and helpful - available when needed and knowledgeable about the area and it's history, but allowing us complete privacy throughout our visit. It's easy to forget that their home is nearby since the cabin faces the river and mountain views - you feel like you have it all to yourself!
Beautiful hiking, ATVing, rafting, kayaking, and exploration of historic mountain towns is all within a few minutes of the cabin. Wildlife abounds all around the cabin.
We highly recommend this wonderful cabin, its owners, and the Alpine Township area. We hope to be back and maybe bring along some friends to share the experience with!
