The open plan lounge, diner and Kitchen also has a sofa ged which sleeps a further 2 persons. Bogaz: Activity in Bogaz centres around its pretty little harbour and beach. You can take a boat trip to surrounding bays, go fishing, snorkling and scuba diving in the warm crystal clear waters and marvel at the fantastic marine life.
You can indulge in one of the many restaurants in and around the village. European, Turkish, Fish and Chinese. Bogaz village has many other facilities including, sandy beaches with sun loungers and umbrellas, bars and mini-markets, petrol station with banks and larger supermarkets close by too.
Bogaz is situated at edge of the Karpaz region which has the best beaches on the island including the famous Golden Beach approx 40 min away. Just 2 min drive in either direction you can find sandy beaches, either at Bogaz village or Sunrise Beach Club. The fantastic new hotel Artemis is situated at Bafra Beach only a 15 min drive away. There is also a Bowling Alley and Go Karting 15 min drive and a small waterpark in further a field in Kyrenia.
Famagusta: Only a 20 min drive south lies the historic old town centre of Famagusta which is surrounded by its medieval fortress wall and displaying ancient historical monuments. Drive into the old town where you can enjoy a mixture of history with a bit of retail therapy and culinary delights. Nearby attractions also include the famous Salamis Ruins, St Barnabas Monastery and the oddity that is the ghost city of Varosha. North Cyprus has a typical Mediterranean climate with long, warm and dry summers from mid-May to mid-October and mild and wet winters from December to February. In July and August the temperature is in the mid-30's, but the sea breeze makes a pleasant atmosphere in coastal area. Sea temperature is 23-27 Cº from June to October.
Just outside the pretty harbour village of Bogaz and overlooking the sea, Hilltop village provides a quiet and peaceful complex to spend your holiday. Located in the Karpaz region renowned for its wonderful empty sandy beaches and warm waters, the apartment shares 3 swimming pools (Olympic, fun and toddler size) with a cafe and internet access for those who must remain in touch! A selection of bars and restaurants in walking distance to Bogaz ups the tempo of things in the evening with other shops restaurants and supermarkets travelling out of the village. For retail therapy its off to Famagusta and the walled city, cafes restaurants and and shopping combined! There are still some traders where you can haggle on price! There is history and sightseeing too, the Salamis ruins in Famagust bay next to the sea date back to 8th century BC, St Barnabas Monastery and Kantara Castle which has stunning views over the Karpaz peninsula, and on to the distant mountains of Turkey.
