Close to some of the most famous monuments, nestled on the edge of The Marais (one of the oldest and most charming areas of Paris) and a stones throw from the Seine, you will have at your doorstep one of the largest pedestrian areas in Europe that is bursting with vibrant bars, boutiques and gourmet restaurants. With 47m2 this quiet one bedroom flat, situated on the first floor of a Haussmanien building, is excellently proportioned with a spacious kitchen/living room and a large double bedroom with windows all opening on to internal private courtyards giving a feeling of calm and tranquility. We are situated in the 4th Arrondissement of Paris. This is right next to the Pompidou Center (1 minute walk) on a lovely pedestrian street. The apartment is just next to the Metro and suburban train station of Chatelet so there are direct trains to airport and to all over Paris. Apartment is walking distance to The Louvres and many other major museums such as the Picasso/ Carnavalet and so on. There are literally hundreds of fantastic bars and delicious restaurants at your doorstep as you are in The Marais which is one of the most charming and oldest areas of Paris - the old Latin quarter! This flat really could not be better situated as you also are just 5/10 minutes walk from the Seine/Notre Dame Cathedral /River Boat Service(Batobus)/Eglise Saint Sulpice/Opera Chatelet/Palais Royal.

Very good sofa bed! Comfortable and spacious with a calm Zen feel! Full length windows onto a private interior courtyard - (no security risk as we are the only flat that has access to it) Flat screen TV/DVD/HIFI with MP3 access/HI-Speed Wireless Internet... Great location, yet quiet and luxurious

We spent a great three nights here in May 2009. It's a great location: open the front door onto the street and Paris at its most exciting is right at your feet with restaurants, cafes, bakeries and a great cheese shop on the street. However, the apartment itself is a haven of calm and peace: everything you need for a good night's sleep, a quiet siesta or a romantic meal in.

A real "find"!

Lovely, well-appointed flat in the heart of Paris. A real "find"! Clean and well equipped with modern furniture and a comfortable four-poster bed.

The location was particularly good, just yards from Beauberg (The Pompidou Centre). Lots of bars and restaurants close by (the actual flat was really quiet though). Easy access for all the sights.

We would definitely recommend this flat.

Fabulous Apartment

We just returned from Paris and enjoyed our stay, much in thanks to this apartment. It's in a terrific location... easy to walk to get fresh baguettes in the morning, take the metro later or walk all over the city. It's very quiet, even though it's close by a big street. We never heard our neighbors, even with the windows open all night. The place is clean and beautiful and the apartment manager is a huge help with all kinds of things. This is a bargain of a place!
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great location, nice place!

I really enjoyed staying here with my wife, so much so I booked it for my Dad too!

The owners are very easy to deal with, and the apartment is tastefully furnished and has everything you'd need for a short visit to Paris.

Thoroughly recommended.
