Visit old Medina's, it's bazaars, haggle prices down, have a look at old mosques and Madrassas, Tangiers is only an hour trip by car. Go to a Hammam, drink their tea with mint, just delicious! Listen to Arab music in Situ, have a ride on a camel. Try Morocco's spicy food, especially remarkable is fish and meat balls, also lamb kebabs and B.B.Q. sardines are to be tried. For the American tourist, this experience was unique. I am seasoned traveler but was unprepared for the raw beauty of Morocco. The property mentioned here was ideal to come to know the landscape. The unit faces out with a balcony that fronts rolling hills and mountains on one side and a view of the ocean on the other. Directly in front are fig trees, replete with various women and men herding sheep and cattle. Never a dull moment or view. The pool is beautiful, though could use some umbrellas for the sun-shy. The apartment does need some fans as all of the windows must be shut at night to fend off mosquitos. The temperatures are cool, with exquisite breezes in the afternoon and night. The furnishings are simple and comfortable, not fancy. I loved, loved it here.

We highly recommend Jawhara Smir as a place to go on holidays. Quiet in winter, hot in summer...swimming-pool, it's near the beach, never too busy...We stayed a couple of weeks, but we really wolud have stayed longer in order to know better the area. Tetoaun and it's medina are just wonderful, nice to walk inside the streets of the old arab area. Beatuful is it's pottery, jewelry and food!

My wife and I where at Jawhara Smir apartments last summer and we wolud like to share with everybody our first experience in Morocco. The apartment was more than we expected, especially for the price. Good illumination and nice decoration, plus beautiful swimming-pool and gardens. The apartments are just by Marina Smir, a posh marina with the best-in-class boats,also has restaurants and bars. We never imagined that Morocco was so wonderful, I mean not only because of the weather, but because its people and fascinating views and culture.

We loved the apartment, first of all because it is totally unexpensive, it is fully equiped; the environment is just lovely and quiet. You can choose either swimming-pool or the beach. Morocco has great products as for eating and souvenir shopping, and the best of all...it's so CHEAP!!!
