LAKE VIEW

We (self, wife, 8yr old daughter) stayed in Lake View.
The Villa is awesome and beautiful, just as in the pictures and is nicely located, close to Bellagio (yet not too close). “Lake View” is what it says, beautiful views and within metres of steps and little area for access and swimming in the lake. The gardens are stunning and cared for as if a national treasure. The pool is 20m and also very well maintained. To one side of the villa and near the lake is a charming private gate into the little town/church square. One of the lake ferry services stops at the San Giovanni pier, 25 metres from the gate with the small local bar/restaurant 60m from gate. There is a friendly little alimentari just outside the main gate.
All in all a great location to enjoy Lake Como.
Elizabetta (agent) and Carla (supervisor) were terrific. We had booked Gaia but this was not as imagined – being smaller than Lake View. Within one hour of arrival and despite the late evening hour, they had shown us Lake View and arranged to switch apartments with the person who had booked and was just arriving at that time. They were then responsive and available at all times during the week for help and advice. The apartment was clean and comfortable.
