The complex is 800 metres from the beach or less than 10 minutes walk away. Local market/shops are only a minutes walk. No need for a car as the local bus (dolmus) is nearly on our doorstep which takes you to Fethiye centre or beyond to Hisaronu/ Oludeniz very cheaply. Best way to Fethiye is via the water taxi which is 5 minutes walk away and is perfect for the sunset. This walk will also take you to all the restaurants and pubs.
Calis is famous for it's sunsets and flatness. A long promenade which is great for runners or walkers. A beach club is is along this stretch and is great for kids. An aqua park is also nearby to keep children happy and content.
Calis is about 5Kms from Fethiye which means you can walk to the city along the marina. The beach itself goes along for over 3 km and has warm water. Perfect for water sports. Bird sanctuary opposite the beach club for nature lovers. Calis has it all, from horse riding to quad bikes, even a dental studio for implants and crowns!
Calis is only 45 minutes drive from Dalaman Airport.
Fethiye itself is a working town,is open all year round unlike other cities, and is a delight to wander around. The marina is a must for evening meals and sunset yacht charters. All tastes are catered for, weather it's cuisine or excursions. The ghost town of Kaya, gorge of Sakilent, or old town of Tlos is a must, but please visit the trout farm with it's stunning waterfalls. This is actually a restaurant with a fish pond around the bar!
Try the twelve island tour which takes nearly all day and is well worth it. Para gliding is a 'must do' which is in Oludenez. This is the famous nature reserve with it's beautiful beach. See everything from above whilst paragliding! Lots of day long safari's which takes everything in but good shoes are required.
Plenty of good shops and bars with a trendy night life for all. People are friendly and very helpfull. Children are always made welcome.

I'm a South African, from Cape Town who now lives and works in Aberdeen, Scotland in the offshore industry. I sold my house in Kirstenhof and managed to transfer funds to the UK with a good exchange rate back in September 2010. Married a Scot (shame) and have two little boys, eldest six (as of 15-02-13) and youngest four. Love motor-bikes and had one until had to sell it as had gun to my head thanks to wife! F1 motor racing on Sundays with a good bottle of wine and crisps yelling for Ferrari of course! Employed as a aviation system specialist (helicopter refuelling packages) and can travel worldwide offshore.
Music influence being ROCK and blues, seen many concerts in my 'before kids came along' era. From AC/DC to Pink Floyd and of course Status Quo, cannot forget them. Liked the punk days and early rock and roll music. DON'T EVEN MENTION BOY BANDS WHO LOOK TO CLEAN AND ONLY DANCE (just add your washing and powder!)
David Farmer purchased this apartment in 2011
A good question indeed. Once I sold my house in Cape Town after 15 years, it was what now? Do I finally buy my dream car, the Ferrari 355 GTS and loose my license again, or buy property abroad. After much research and looking at the exchange rates I decided on TURKEY. She wanted France, I did not want a big 'needs modernising' house in the way and beyond and convinced her why in Turkey.
We spent a few days rushing around looking at different projects in all of Fethiye, newly completed, off-plan and resale properties. After deciding on the area, it was down to what complex takes our most interest. It was decided to go for the off-plan Korfez built complex for good reason. They have a very good reputation for quality materials and workmanship as we visited a few of their completed projects but unfortunately all were sold. The foundation for our chosen complex was already completed at this stage.
The complex is very close to everything a family needs, public transport especially, from local taxis (dolmus) to a water-taxi! Both take passengers to the city centre, Fethiye. Shops and markets are minutes away and so are resturants/pubs and a few clubs, but, the beauty is that it's just far enough not to hear any music etc. As there's only six apartments in the complex it's got a private feel as there's no major activity likened to a much larger 'built for tourist' complex's which I nearly bought if it was not for my tasteful wife (bless). Size does matter in some cases, especially when it comes to bedroom and living room size. The phrase that you can swing a cat around without hitting the walls comes to mind but won't print this as not to offend! Large rooms with plenty of space to relax. It's modern, clean and spacious is the bottom line.
The complex is managed by the builders itself so is kept clean with plenty of plants/ trees being planted and grounds maintained by them. Calis itself is flat so is perfect for folk who have walking problems
As the apartment occupies the corner section of the complex there's no shortage of sun, but thanks to adequate air conditioning there's no problem. Not many apartments have a jacuzzie bath fitted, nor can say that it's tastefully decorated with soft neutral colours, wife chose EVERYTHING so blame her! Plenty of storage space for clothes and luggage to. For kids, some rubber wings etc are there and for babies a high chair and cot can be arranged. The side of the complex has quite a few fruit trees growing so not bare at all, almost a farmer's paradise! There's a dental clinic and pharmacy a few minutes walk away, the hospital is nearby as well. A waterworld themed park is nearby for both kids and adults (great fun). In short, lots to offer with no fuss or bother, tasteful, clean accommodation and peace of mind for family. Ask the South African agent to arrange tours etc then relax. Please enjoy!
We have just came back from holidaying in this superb holiday home. It is really a home form home everything you could need. Great location sun all day on the balcony to take in the hot turkish sun. David the owner was very helpfull and so was Nadine the management that looks after apartment everything went so well i will be recommending this apartment to family and friends. We will be back to this lovely apartment again and again. We come to Calis every year we like it so much. Thank you for giving us you apartment to stay in it was fantastic.
Location of this apartment is in a quiet area.
The three bedroom apartment is on two levels with a huge balcony looking over the pool with a barbecue. The bedroom upstairs has a separate balcony, high walled, very private with full sunshine, fantastic for sun worshippers. The air conditioning keeps the apartment so cool. We didn't have children with us but with a private clean pool is a big plus for families.
Across the road is a lovely small family run shop that holds all of the essentials who are friendly and helpful and speak English. And along the road both ways there are restaurants and bars close by for all ages.
For me I will always arrange my holidays in Turkey around the availability of this luxury apartment as it has everything I need.
Have recommended this apartment to my family and if you are reading this review then book it you won't be disappointed.
Villa was exactly as described. It was very clean, welcoming and comfortable. The whole process from the initial booking to arranging the airport transfers was made so easy with the help of Dave, the owner and Nadine the local manager. For those of you used to booking a package, be assured this holiday was very easy and simple to organise.
We did lots of fun activities, including a jeep safari, a cruise around the islands, quad biking and horse riding and all for just £60 per person and included lunch for two of these activities. Amazing value and ideal for keeping a restless teenager occupied! We also had a great time at the market where we learnt a bit about the art of haggling.
This is our second trip to Callis Beach and it gets better each time we go.
Thanks for Dave and Nadine for ensuring we had the best time. Hope to see you soon!
We have just arrived back from a 2 week stay at Mimoza Apartment, party of 6. A lovely apartment over 2 floors, parents were downstairs and my family were upstairs and had a very spacious area the apartment has everything that you could need and more. Very clean and modern. Most of the time we had the pool to ourselves when we were staying around the apartment, ours seemed to be the only apartment that was rented out. Shops very close by for topping up the fridge with drinks. My husband and dad did two shopping trips to the big supermarket which kept us going for lunches and snacks. There was a shopping basket with wheels in a cupboard on the stairs they took that, as in a 40 degree heat it was hard to carry lots of shopping. Also in there are other things like sun bed cushions and pool things. Calis itself is a lovely place we had not been there before and was surprised how clean and upmarket it was compared to other places we have visited in Turkey. We had some nice meals 2 that stood out to me were Sat Restaurant that was highly recommended from others, lovely meal and the most amazing setting, we went a week before for a drink and reserved the best table at the end of the jetty which was great for watching the sunset. Another lovely meal was at Bella Mama it was always very busy so booking may be a good idea but we sat and waited for a table for only 10 mins. Boat taxi over to Fethiye was also a lovely trip on the return in the dark was like a pond the water was so calm. We also did a boat trip booked this in Fethiye you will be collared by 100's trying to sell you trips we chose one because of the boat, it was a pretty new boat and only allowed 45 people on. The boat are called Grande Barak it was 2 stands to the right when you get off the boat taxi. No loud music like on some boats some was very relaxing.
Overall a lovely apartment, lovely resort = Lovely Holiday. We would defiantly recommend this apartment to other people and would return another year.

Perfection!! From the time we booked the appartment we were kept well informed by the owner. On arrival at the airport our transfer was there waiting for us. The appartment is absolutly beautiful, spacious and clean, fully equiped with all that you need and more. The pool and gardens are well maintained. Everyone on the complex was friendly.Nadine the complex manager was very welcoming. The appartment is just a 5 minute walk from the resturaunts and bars, we ate out most nights and the food and atmosphere was lovely one resturaunt we ate in many times was the meeting point, the best steak we have ever eaten.Theres plenty to do in Calis with lots of trips avaliable from relaxing boat trips to fun jeep safaries. We went to pumakale on a day trip, worth a visit as its very pretty but it is quite a long journey on the bus about 4 hours each way.We also went on the 3 islands boat trip. The sunday market up the road is worth a visit for some bargains and a bit of fun haggling with the traders.
We have been to Calis a few times but this was our 1st stay in this appartment and we have to say that it was the best place we have stayed and and now want to return next year to this beautiful appartment.

The previous reviews are correct!
The place is impeccable. It is very well built to highest standard, and very well maintained. I am really impressed with this place. The pool is beautiful. It was a big hit with my kids. Internet access was super. Interior was clean and hypoallergenic, very easy to clean up.
Service is also very efficient and friendly. The house was recently built in a new development, so there are still empty fields around and the street to the building is not paved, yet. We got lost trying to find the place, but Nadine came to pick us up from where we called her near a restaurant.
The Beach is easy 10 min stroll down Baris Mancho Blvd or a parellel street. The seafront has lots of restaurants and stores and is a nice walk once it cools down in the evening.
The local Farmer's market and the 24/7 open Kipa market down the other major street are very convenient.
Fethiye has several nearby attractions. We did a boat cruise and visited Oludeniz, but preferred returning to our "home" asap.
The place is very well suited for large families, to spread out and feel comfortable. Thank you for a nice week at your beautiful home.
This brand new complex which has only six apartments is very well situated in a sought after area of Calis. With the beach and promenade only 800m away is perfect for the ideal location. Less than 10 minutes walk to beach and restaurants/pubs. Nearest market is 100m away. Lots to do and an aqua park for children close- by. A quiet area, peace is a priority, but close enough to walk to the 'thump-thump' entertainment part. Calis is well known for it's fantastic sunsets,. ideal to watch whilst on the water-taxi! Brilliant to watch thunder storms as well.
There is also a nature reserve at the end of the beach prommanade which is perfect for bird watchers etc. Sun-loungers and unbrella's provided.
Other Activities: Local market and aqua park.
Golf: The nearest golf course is just ouside Dalaman itself.
