Surrounded by mature shrubs, lush foliage and stone patios, it is easy to imagine you have stepped back in time. The swimming pool and outside barbecue area provide the perfect promise of fun filled days and evenings.

Step inside, through the old wooden doors into a delightful room laid with flagstones, old stone walls and a wonderful beamed ceiling. The beautiful stone fireplace has been used over many centuries. Throw open the wooden shutters and venture upstairs to the master bedroom and pinch yourself. What could be better than this?

Step inside Villa Laina and you’ve stepped back in time. See the graceful stone arch leading the eye from the breakfast kitchen into the lounge with its original Cretan ‘banquettes’ set along the stone wall, and the beamed wooden ceiling – yet there are also modern features to provide the level of luxury you expect to find on a holiday such as a satellite 40” LCD flat screen TV and a luxurious spa bath.

They have been restored with respect to their history, preserving and setting off their original architecture. Our Villa “Laina” and Villa “Sofas” have been renovated in 2010-2011 to meet our valued customer’s expectations. Each Villa is totally independent, surrounded with a stone wall providing absolute privacy. Fully equipped, with all the amenities guaranteeing a relax staying and a perfect base for discovering Crete’s lovely beaches.
