Originally built in 1687, these nine exclusive residences now form part of a newly renovated monument offering high quality accommodation close to the city’s many vibrant cafes and restaurants, as well as the main museums and theatres.

The Luxury Apartments at the front of the property have a view on one of Amsterdam’s most beautiful canals, while apartments at the rear overlook the property’s peaceful, private gardens. Each apartment is individually themed on a famous Dutch artist, ranging from Golden Age masters such as Rembrandt and Vermeer, to the contemporary Appel and Brood. The result is a stunning collection of regal and well-appointed residences, each with its own unique character and style. This national monument is located on one of the most prominent canals of Amsterdam, the Keizersgracht (Emperors canal). Also the position of the spot on that canal is ideal as its right in the middle of three major squares; Museumplein, Leidseplein and Rembrandt Plein.

  • CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES
    (a) The check-in time is 3:00 PM (15:00). Earlier check-in may be possible but not guaranteed. Early check-in can only be guaranteed if the day previous to arrival is also booked by the same client, as there will be no check-out that day.
    (b) The check-out time is 11:00 AM (11:00) on the day of departure. Late check-outs may be requested but cannot be guaranteed. Late check-outs can only be guaranteed if the day after departure is also booked by the same client, as there will be no check-in that day.
    (c) An additional fee of € 25 will be charged for check-ins and check-outs after 21:00 and before 09:00.
    (d) Perfect Visit BV reserves the right to relocate any guest to any one of their apartments should the need arise (e.g. power failure, fire, burglary, flooding, acts of god).
  • GENERAL POLICY
    (a) A 'No Party Policy' is strictly enforced and Perfect Visit management reserves the right to evict at any time, any guest who disturbs the quiet enjoyment of others.
    (b) Pets are not allowed.
    (c) All keys must be returned upon departure. Failure to do so will incur a replacement fee of € 200 per set of keys.
    (d) Guests must immediately inform Perfect Visit BV of all defects in the apartment and damages that occur in the apartment.
    (e) Each apartment has a maximum occupancy which is indicated in its description. Exceptions to this maximum cannot be made without the explicit consent of Perfect Visit management.

Lovely quiet apartment, great location

We just stayed here for long weekend in Amsterdam. This apartment is probably the most elegantly decorated, quite comfortable, beautiful view of canal from living room Pretty much true to the pictures. Company was easy to deal with and everything was in great order. Perfect location, quiet but close to shops and tram, felt quite safe. Nice to have the kitchen as well. I think that for a family this is a much better deal than a hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

Note while this apartment is "ground floor" there is still one halfstaircase to climb to enter, and 2nd bedroom is up a steep internal stair. Not a big deal, but you should know.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers

Happy stay in a quaint apartment

We really enjoyed our stay in the Authentic Jordaan apartment in Amsterdam in August 2008. The apartment was small but very neat and full of character. The creaky wooden floors, steep stairs and lovely leaning facade were very appealing. The location is very good, near enough to a busy road (Haarlemmerstraat) for convenience, but far enough away for a quiet night's sleep. The apartment is very well equipped and accommodated 6 people comfortably.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers
