We stayed in this unit last February. The unit was in good and well maintained condition
Propsective renters should know that this is a very spread out complex requriring a drive to get to reception, hot tub, gym etc which is located at top of a steep hill. There is a shuttle but it runs infrequently and requires a good walk in winter condtions to the shuttle stop.
Roadways, pathways and parking areas were poorly maintained by management and were exceedingly slippery - plowed but not treated in any way to allow for wintertime passage. I had to purchase my own ice melt to aovid the risk of falling. We have stayed in Tremblant for past 8 years both in the pedestrian village and for last 4 years in other complexes outside the village, in all kinds of weather and never experienced such problems. Also, a 4wd vehicle is essential to get up and down the hills in this complex. Again this is a complaint with management - not the unit owner.
We had some glitches checking into the unit. Reception had no record of our booking, For some reason owner (who had been responsive throughout the booking process including possible cancellation) never received our emails. According to owner, they were out of country at the time. I believe that owner should have advised us if they were not going to be reachable during our stay.
Owner's Response: Firstly, I would like to point out that the renter arrived at Tremblant for a winter Ski holiday with his wife who had recently had a knee operation and was disabled and incapable of any mobility in the winter conditions.He should not have come!! Secondly the free shuttle runs every 20 minutes, The walk to the country club and spa is a 8 minute winter wonderland stroll on a safe private path with views to die for, it is a high light for most people. You can also drive, it takes 2 mins! The problems checking in were due to the renter initially changing his mind about coming on holiday due to his wifes leg operation. I did my up most to re rent the week and retun his money, he then decided to come, which of course caused the booking problem, which in any event was fully sorted in one hour.
His family were clearly, physically not in a postion to enjoy any winter sport holiday and we find his review a nonsence!!
