Trinity Haven offers 4**** private and spacious Irish self catering accommodation to rent with four Bedrooms that sleep 6-8 persons, with a special lake view, and near to Killykeen Forest Park and the Radisson Farnham Hotel in Cavan, Ireland. Suitable for a family or wedding / group visit and all ages, Trinity Haven holiday home is also ideal for golfing, fishing, or walking vacations; that last minute short break; or simply getting away from it all. It is five minutes walk from Trinity Lake. It is five minutes drive from Killykeen Forest Park, which makes it ideal for families interested in walking, cycling, horse-riding, or seeking convenient forest trails. The large south-facing garden has garden furniture and offers a safe place for children to play with a swing and slide for their added enjoyment. It has ample private car parking in a large gravelled courtyard. Beds are dressed prior to arrival. Prices include Electricity & Heating.

Places to Visit: : Marble Arch Caves, located at Florencecourt, Co. Fermanagh is one of Europe's finest show caves allowing visitors to explore a fascinating, natural underworld of rivers, waterfalls, winding passages and lofty chambers. Nearby Florence Court is surrounded by a large area of parkland, garden and woodland including the recently restored walled garden where the pink and white roses are especially attractive in early summer. Crom Castle near Newtownbutler, Co. Fermanagh stands on elevated parkland and has been managed by the Northern Ireland National Trust to the highest standard, giving the public an opportunity to experience the tranquillity and beauty of this veritable nature reserve. Dun a Rí Forest Park is located 1.5km north of Kingscourt, Co. Cavan on the R179 to Carrickmacross. There are a number of different walking paths in Dun an Rí. Arigna Mining Experience near Drumshambo, Co. Leitrim provides visitors with a unique insight into what coal mining life was like until 1990.

Killykeen Forest Park: An enjoyable 2 mile walk can be had from Trinity Haven to the entrance to the Forest park. Driving takes less than 10 minutes. Within the Forest Park, as you stroll along the forest road, keep your eyes peeled for rabbits and foxes. Kilmore Cathedral: An energetic and enjoyable three-mile walk from Trinity Haven, or only 10 minutes away by car, Kilmore Cathedral is the home to the grave of bishop Bedell.

For Anglers: With Angling being the No 1 leisure activity in Cavan, there are many fish filled lakes within very easy access to Trinity Haven. Trinity Lake is only a 10 minute walk, Lough Oughter a 10 minute drive, and Lough Sheelin and Lough Gowna are less than a 20 minute drive.

Nous sommes revenus en France avec de belles images en tête . La situation du cottage avec la vue sur le lac est exceptionnelle . Nous n'oublierons pas l'accueil et la gentillesse de Ray et de votre papa qui nous ont donnés toutes les informations que nous attendions et une pensée pour la mascotte du cottage qui nous a accompagné toute la semaine, même à la pêche , le chien T - Bone . Le cottage est spacieux , bien équipé et bien situé à proximité de Cavan et idéal pour la pêche au brochet et à la truite . Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

We came back to France with beautiful images in mind. The situation of the cottage with a view of the lake is exceptional. We will not forget the hospitality and kindness of Ray and your Dad who gave us all the information that we expected and a thought for the cottage mascot that accompanied us throughout the week fishing, dog T - Bone. The cottage is spacious, well equipped and well located close to Cavan and ideal for fishing for pike and trout. We will return with pleasure.

Nous sommes une équipe de 8 pêcheurs pratiquant la pêche du brochet.
J'ai sélectionné Trinity Haven pour tous les éléments de confort décrit mais aussi pour la proximité du lac ( moins de 5 minutes de marche).Mis à part les équipements disponibles , nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme des lieux, toutes les pièces de la maison sont claires , spacieuses et surtout très propres. De plus le propriétaires nous a aidé pour trouver des barques de pêche.Il est certains que si nous revenons pêcher dans cette zone, nous contacterons ce propriétaire.La grande ville la plus proche (Cavan) est à 9 km

Beautiful House, Beautiful Location.

We all loved our stay at Trinity Haven, the house was so well equipped and luxurious, with lots of windows and doors letting in light and showing the beautiful views. The swings and T-bone the dog were great for the child in our group she loved playing with him. Good scenic location but also only 15mins away from local amenities in Cavan town. Would definatly recommend this cottage and would love to go back!

Lovely well equipped house, with wonderful views.

We were visiting family in the area and the house was a perfect base.
Our party included small children and teenagers, the small children were well catered for, the teenagers would have been really happy with Wi Fi/internet and more TV's, especially on rainy days. The rest of us adults were thrilled with the house and had a wonderful time.
Trish's brother (on farm close by) loaned us his large gas BBQ which was great, thank you.
We all really enjoyed our stay, thanks again.

Lovely home with loads of room

Beautifully clean, spacious house with everything supplied that we needed. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

Very comfortable beds, huge lounge with a big fire that was great to sit around when the evenings got cooler.

It's a beautiful, picturesque part of Ireland and people are very welcoming. There's lots of lakes and rivers for fishing and Killykeen is great for a walk with the dog.
It was lovely to see the kids enjoying the country life away from the internet!

Would highly recommend this house and area.

The last word has to go to T-bone who ran to welcome us home each time we arrived back and almost climbed into the car to get our dog out! Then they would sit staring at each other through the french doors!

Home from Home

This was our second time to stay at Trinity Haven and will definetly not be our last. This is a beautiful house in an absolutely idyllic location. The house is located max. 10mins drive from Cavan town where you have access to all amenities you might need, and within 'a stones throw' from a choice of fishing lakes and golf clubs.
The house itself was very clean, spacious and accomadating, having all that you might need for your stay. It is located in a beautiful tranquil spot, with views overlooking trinity lake and across picturesque countryside.
We also have fallen in love with T-Bone (house dog) and found ourselves spoiling him quite a bit with 'doggy treats'.

Having stayed in numerous holiday homes in the UK and Ireland over the years, This one has been by far the best on all counts - location, accomodation and price- and I really can't recommend this house highly enough.

We cannot wait to get back again in 2013!

Home from home in Ireland

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trinity Haven. The house was spotlessly clean and contained everything we could need. We ate our dinner outside in the evening around a large wooden table surrounded by beautiful countryside and amazing views of the lakes. We explored the area walking with our dog - accompanied by the resident caretaker T Bone, who looked out for us all week! It was peaceful and tranquil - a perfect rest. I would definitely recommend this gem of a hideaway to any family wishing to find a home from home in beautiful Ireland.

There are excellent hotels, restaurants and pubs in Cavan Town or in the neighbouring places of Crossdoney, Butlersbridge and Ballinagh. The new Radisson Farnham Hotel is just 10 minutes drive away. In Cavan Town the Cavan Crystal Hotel and Kilmore Hotel are 15 minutes drive. Crover House Hotel on Lough Sheelin is just 25 minutes drive. The Slieve Russell Golf and Country Club Hotel in Ballyconnell is 30 minutes drive. Take a leisurely drive to Enniskillen (50km) and enjoy the beauty of Lower Lough Erne followed by a shopping spree or a well deserved treat in one of its many coffee houses or restaurants.

Golf: Cavan has a magnificient selection of courses, for example: the Radisson Golf Club is less than 10 minutes drive, Cavan Golf Club is less than 15 minutes drive and the Slieve Russell Golf and Country Club is only 30 minutes away. For those seeking the less professional challenge McSeain’s Pitch ‘n’ Putt (Tel: 049 433 7138) in Cornafaen is an 18-hole par 3 to par 4 course worthy of a visit and very reasonably priced. It is only 15 minutes drive to Cornafaen.
