The Five Star Aphrodite Hills resort and 18 hole golf course is the only integrated resort of it's kind in Cyprus. Built on the Aphrodite Hills it has its own golf and tennis academy, spa, 5 star Intercontinental Hotel and restaurants, medical centre, Laiki Bank and Sales Office.
On site in the Aphrodite village centre is an excellent supermarket including bakery, a number of shops, some good reasonably priced restaurants (Italian, Greek, Thai/Chinese, Steak House and a sports bar), a Costa Coffee shop, a Kebab shop, a Haagen Dazs ice cream shop, an internet café and the 5 star hotel which itself has a number of highly recommended restaurants. There is also the 'Rainbow Kids Club' open 5 days or 7 days a week depending on season for ages 3 to 12 and a well equipped area exclusively for teenagers. Most importantly, there is a 24 hour MEDICAL SERVICE on the resort for all emergencies.
Golf: The five star Aphrodite Hills resort and golf course is outstanding (see website). Designed by Cabell Robinson (responsible for Valderama among others) with numerous different tees it provides a fair test for pros and club golfers alike. In the next valley is the Secret Valley golf course which though less prestigious is a good scenic course with a lovely clubhouse.
Ski: The Troodos Mountains just 1 hour drive away provides wonderful walking and cycling in spring/summer and skiing pistes with good skiing conditions from January to March.
