The Highland Estate of Liarn enjoys an enviable setting approximately half way along the north shore of Loch Rannoch, boasting panoramic views southward over the Loch to the Black Wood beyond. The farm dates from 1837, covering an area of some 243 acres of which approximately 182 acres are of natural mixed woodland with a high proportion of birch, open areas of scrub, moor and wetland. The colours in Autumn are simply glorious, as can be imagined. The woods lend themselves to a quiet, leisurely ramble and are for the sole use of Liarn Farm residents. There is a small well stocked Lochan (small Loch) within the woods. Fishing on the Lochan and Liarn Farms Loch frontage are included in the rental. There is a pets corner where children can help feed the ducks and chickens, collect the eggs and see the sheep, rabbit, and ponies. A local activity centre offers a range of activities including boat and cycle hire, white water rafting and much more. Golf courses in Aberfeldy and Pitlochry.
