The 'Gentilhommiere' has been sympathetically renovated , retaining all the original oak beams ,to provide a unique holiday gite for 4 guests.Set in 1.6 hectares of gardens and farmland it is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday with family or friends.

The 'Garden gite ' is a newly renovated part of La Binellerie and provides a comfortable ground floor 1 bedroom apartment for 2 guests,

Each property has it's own patio/BBQ area with tables & chairs , a BBQ and sunloungers.

La Binellerie 'Gentilhommiere ' is the oldest part of this property,having been built in approx 1664, and has been sympathetically renovated , retaining all the original oak beams, fireplace and staircase. On the ground floor there is a spacious sitting room with sofas and a woodburning stove, both French & English TV and a Blu-ray player with a small collection of recent popular films.There is a dining table and chairs to seat 4 people comfortably and a door which leads into the kitchen. The fully equipped hand-made oak kitchen looks out onto your own patio and the garden beyond, and has table & chairs and sunloungers . Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms--1 double bedroom with en-suite shower room and 1 twin bedded room with it's own shower room off the landing. There is a baby's cot available if needed.

Dit huis uit de 17de eeuw met fantastische tuin is op zich al een vakantiereis waard. Het is met heel veel liefde en smaak tot in het kleinste detail gerenoveerd. Niets ontbreekt. Wij hebben zo genoten dat wij op sommige dagen thuis bleven om in deze idylle te verblijven. Sue en Steve waren zeer behulpzaam met tips, schonken ons groenten uit hun tuin en installeerden als verrassing een schommel aan een van de prachtige bomen voor onze 2 dochters. Plaatsen als St.Malo, Dinan, Mt. Saint Michel en Cap Frehel zijn net zo goed met de auto bereikbaar als prachtige zandstranden. Dus wij komen zeker terug.

We had marvelous stay in this beautifully maintained property. We are a family of four well traveled individuals and we came to Brittany to make interesting trips on daily bases and relax in a comfortable authentic place. We found it – it was fabulous to arrive after a long journey into this marvelous spot. This luxurious property is absolutely meticulously renovated, most tastefully furnished, yet practical and surrounded by a lovely garden. The garden is romantic and a pleasure to look at and walk around – my husband loved early breakfasts right there. We could not have been happier to come “home” from our daily exciting trips around the coast. While we rested in a wonderful bedroom our adult kids had terrific time in a large and comfortable sitting room, reading and active with their I-pods. The owners were absolutely superb, greeted us with goodies waiting in a modern and well equipped kitchen, gave us advice where to eat, shop and what not to miss. Both Susan and Steve were pleasure to talk to; they both are thoughtful and most helpful. This property is one you want to experience.

Fantastic place to stay

We stayed at La Binellerie for 2 nights last year on the way back from our family holiday and absolutely loved it, so it was the first choice place to stay on cycling trip with 4 of my friends this year with Tour de France stage 10 passing through the local Town of Châteauneuf-d'Ille-et-Vilaine
Sue and Steve are a super cool, friendly couple and wonderful hosts with impeccable taste which is reflected throughout the property. The accommodation is spacious and beautifully presented in a peaceful rural setting. I would not hesitate to recommend La Binellerie and am already looking forward to the next time we can stay there.

Notre séjour a été parfait.
L’accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires, le gite confortable décoré avec beaucoup de goût.

La Binellerie is a late 17th century gentilhommiere, near Miniac Morvan, a short drive from the port and old walled town of St Malo, the seaside resort of Dinard,and numerous beautiful beaches along the magnificent Breton coastline.We are within easy reach of the medieval town of Dinan with it's ancient rampart walks and pretty cobbled streets.Dinan also has a river frontage with many delightful restaurants ,and boat trips up the river Rance. One of the most visited places in France ,Le Mont St Michel is about 30 min drive away, and Cancale, famous for it's oysters is about 15 min drive away.There you can sit in the sun on the sea wall and eat a plate of freshly opened oysters with a cold glass of Muscadet. For beach lovers , there are many to choose from both on the coast and along the river Rance and all of these places offer a huge choice of restaurants, whether you are looking for a lively atmosphere in the old town of St Malo or a more peaceful location by the river.

After a days sightseeing you can relax on your patio, or in our gardens, before venturing out again, or maybe a BBQ?There is so much to do and see here in Brittany, you'll be able to try something different every day.

Golf: There are some excellent golf courses nearby with club house facilities at Golf des Ormes and at the Golf St Malo at Le Tronchet. The nearest one being about 20 min drive away.

    During the colder months firewood is provided , and BBQ charcoal is also available to purchase, by the bag.
    The tarif includes all bedlinen, towels (except beach towels ), and cleaning. For a stay of 2 weeks the bed linen will be changed after the first week.
