Golf: The Mont-Dore Golf course, located at 1,100 metres altitude on the Rigolet's Plateau, is one of the oldest mountain golf courses in Europe. In a forested landscape 'chamois and mouflon' slightly undulating, with on top of that a unique view on the Sancy crests and the high Dordogne Valley, this golf resort offers you an approved 9 hole course (par 68) of 2,190 metres. It is technical for experienced golfers, pedagogical and entertaining for beginners. Le Mont-Dore is good for your health but its golf course is not a just a 'healthy walk'. Individual lessons, weekend courses, seminar, initiation or improvement.

The downhill ski resort of Le Mont-Dore is located at the foot of Sancy (1,886 metres high), the highest peak of the Massif Central, and at the Dordogne river. It offers a relief suitable for any skier, from steep slopes to widely accessible ones. Le Mont-Dore was one of the first ranked winter sports resorts in France. The resort from 1,200 to 1,840 metres on the Northern side, 85 km of slopes thanks to the link with Super Besse.
