Large 4 bedroomed Edwardian House with award winning modern exetension - 8 bed

The house is a modernised period property with an award winning architect designed rear extension. The extension contains a large (21 ft by 21 ft) kitchen with folding doors to the garden. There is hardwood flooring throughout the ground floor. Flat screen TVs are provided in the kitchen and in the living room and an i-pod docking stereo in kitchen. There is a separate utility room with extra fridge and freezer and washing machine and dryer which means you are not disturbed by the constant washing that families can generate.

There are four bedrooms upstairs - all with radio alarm clocks with iPod or iPhone connectivity - two bathrooms and a cloakroom downstairs. Lots of storage.

Beautifully maintained garden to front and rear.

Wilmington Avenue is a quiet and safe tree lined no through road.

Chiswick House famous for its gardens and Regency House is a 5 minute walk away and Kew Gardens are nearby. Chiswick Station at the end of the road has trains every 15 minutes to Waterloo where you will find many tourist attractions.

If you are travelling from abroad Heathrow is 15 minutes by taxi.

Comfortable and well-located. I highly recommend this property!

This home suited my family's needs perfectly. We were a grandmother, two parents and three small children. It is tastefully decorated, comfortable and well located on a quiet, tree-lined street. The train station and nearest bus stop are an easy 3-minute walk away. We often rode the bus to the high street or the tube station at Turnham Green, from which we took the District Line into London. Closer to home, Chiswick House grounds were beautiful to explore, and a welcome place for the children to run around while we adults enjoyed a light snack. On Chiswick High Street, we found many interesting restaurants, a little Italian restaurant selling gelato, and some interesting clothing stores -- as well as a Starbucks. The homeowner / landlord was welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this property!

Fantastic Place to Stay

Very clean, very modern, and a great location.
This is the nicest place where we have stayed in 4 trips to Europe.
And very convenient for visiting the greater London area.
I paced about 320 steps from the front door to the train station.
An easy walk in just over 5 minutes.
The trains come every 15 minutes during weekdays, and they run until after midnight.
The train goes to Waterloo Station in about 25 minutes.
There are Underground connections at Waterloo to the Northern, Bakerloo, and Jubilee lines.
Alternatively, you can also take the E3 bus (which runs every 6 to 10 minutes on weekdays) to Turnham Green Underground station.
That puts you on the District Line which runs directly to Victoria, Westminster, or Tower Hill without changing trains.
If you are looking for a large supermarket, the Sainsbury’s just off the High Street is the largest I have been to in England.
The grounds at Chiswick House are well worth the pleasant stroll from the house.
I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to my friends.

This home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, we liked it so much we stayed 3 months. The landlord was very attentive to our needs and the home is well cared for and attractively furnished. The backyard offers a pleasant view and is is well maintained. I highly recommend this home!

Chiswick, an ideal location to base a family or group of friends when visiting London. With easy access to the major tourist attractions and yet is quiet and safe. The station at the end of the road will rush you to Waterloo in 20 minutes where you will find the National Theatre, the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament. You can walk to Chiswick House, the home of the English Landscape garden, in less than 5 minutes; Kew Gardens in 15 and Strand on the Green with the riverside pubs in 10. Chiswick High Road is full of good restaurants, including two with Michelin stars, and shops. The 272 bus at the end of the road will take you directly to Westfield the largest Shopping Centre in Western Europe. The 92 bus from Turnham Green takes you directly to Oxford Street. If you are touring the country Chiswick is a good base as it is near Heathrow (12Km) and the motorways network. Chiswick is a sought after place to live and is home to many celebrities. It is where Hugh Grant was brought up and Colin Firth now lives.
