It is built and equipped to the highest standards, comprising of one double bedroom with luxury ensuite bathroom and one twin bedroom with adjacent bathroom and a large open plan living and dinng area with a modern fully equipped kitchen. Covered terraces provide shaded areas from which to enjoy the landscaped gardens and stunning view. Facilities include satellite TV, DVD, music centre, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and BBQ. Villa Millianna is situated on the edge of Kalligata in the exclusive Livathos region in the South of Kefalonia. It enjoys fabulous views across olive groves and cypress trees down to the Ionian sea. Kalligata is a small traditional village, attractively maintained with many beautiful gardens. There is a local mini market and a small children's play area. The nearest beach, Avithos-one of the island's finest and popular with Greek locals is only 1.5km away. It is a beautiful sandy bay with a taverna and restaurant and is very safe for children. The island's capital, Argostoli is only a 15min drive away with a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Here you will find an excellent range of restaurants, from simple harbour side tavernas to a la carte restaurants and a range of boutiques and designer shops. The harbour hosts fresh fish and fruit & veg markets and is the destination of many cruise ships and private yachts in the summer.

Five Star Villa in a Five Star Location!

We have been to many greek islands but always return to Kefalonia which is our favourite. We spent two weeks at Villa Millianna which has first class facilities, is absolutely immaculate and has beautiful views, you really cannot wish for more. Every attention to detail has been thought of to make your stay here perfect by the owners who were extremely helpful from first enquiry to coming home. For the first week of our holiday we did not venture far as the villa is in such a beautiful location to destress and unwind and we had our evening meals on the patio looking out to sea. The patio and pool area are lovely and our 11 year old daughter only came out of the pool to eat and sleep! Once you are chilled and ready to explore (and after a few nights looking at the view with a glass of wine in hand you will be!) there is lots to see and do on the island and also close by. There are a couple of excellent restaurants within walking distance and also a beautiful beach or you can drive there within a few minutes. The location of the villa is great for reaching any part of the island. An absolutely perfect place to stay.

What a fantastic villa!We enjoyed two weeks here,the first week together with our grandaughter and her mum and dad.The views from here are quite stunning.Looking out to sea where ships pass.Don't forget your binocs!The pool is quite safe for young children,as Mia, our g'daughter discovered very quickly.She spent so much time in there,as did we all.
Nearby Avithos beach has two excellent tavernas and a beach bar.This beach is not particularly child friendly,but seek out Trapazaki and Spartia for them and the Lassi peninsular for teens where they will find an abundance of water sports available plus a rather nice beach bar where a wide variety of drinks and snacks help the day go by.There is much to see on this beautiful island,our fourth visit.
The villa was very clean and comfortable with an excellent kitchen.
We also used the BBQ.
Queiries were dealt with promtly by a telephone call.
Barely 10 mins. from the airport,the villa is set in a very peaceful area with lots of green countryside between it and the coast.
There are several steps up from the car park which we did not find a problem. We are 64 and 71!
There is an excellent local restaurant too for that special evening dinner.Set in beautiful gardens.It's called The Orange Tree.Quite delightful.
All in all,a highly recommended villa which we hope to return to again.

Three peaceful weeks with family and friends...

We spent a really nice holiday in Villa Millianna the last 3 weeks of August 2009.
The Villa is fully equipped, situated in a very beautiful location, so close to many nice beaches: you can easily reach Avithos, Ammes, Ai-Helis, Minies beaches, Ag. Thomas, the little Spartia and Pessada beaches...
Dining in Kefalonia: in Argostoli port, PortSide (in front of Port Authority at the end of the seaside promenade): try the fantastic grilled octopus!
If you don't care driving a bit, there's a lovely fish tavern in Ag. Kiriaki: you can only eat their fishing of the day!
On the little beach of Ag. Thomas (end of the road on left) there is a terrace on the sea: the owner is Alexandros, You must try the best stuffed tomatoes (Ghemistà) and the best fried cod-fish served with smashed garlic potatoes (bakalado-skordalià) of the entire island.
Don't miss having a BBQ party beside the pool at night: the air in Kaligata is fresh and flavoured, and you'll find everything you need inside the Villa!
We hope to be back very soon: Villa Millianna, we already miss you!

Fantastic Villa and Island

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at Villa Millianna and have had the Holiday of a lifetime. Our 2 boys and their friend spent hours in the Beautiful pool with its fantastic views. Angela the property Manager was very helpful. The Villa is immaculate and perfect for a base to enjoy the Beaches, Scenary and Restaraunts of Kefallonia. We would certainly give the villa, for anyone who wanted it, a great reference and hope to visit there again in the future. Mark, Wendy and the boys

Excellent villa, Highly maintained. Located very central and within walking distance to the beach, 15 minutes to argostoli which has loads of bars and restraunts.
Very helpfull owners and very easy to contact when needed.
Very relaxing holiday and will be returning next year.
