Established in 1993, Royal Mougins Golf Resort is an exclusive, private Club created for the sole privilege of its Members and their invited guests. Built on limited space and designed by world-renowned American architect, Robert von Hagge, the 18 hole championship golf course has a par of 71, measuring 6004 meters from the championship tees.
Located in the Community of Mougins, just 10 minutes outside Cannes on the French Riviera, it occupies the secluded “Vallon de L’Oeuf”, a quiet Provençal landscape, dominated by olive trees on ancient stonewall terraces. The railway from Mouans Satoux to La Bocca runs through the course from north to south, but the rather silent train seems to bother no one here. Train runs peak hours only, twice an hour, each direction.
Course management and target golf are prerequisites in order to score well on this tight and reasonably hilly course, dotted with lakes and rivers, often surrounded by characteristic sand bunkers.
