Self-catering, fully equipped, with a private complex entrance to the beach

Both Worlds complex is a four tier complex. The higher tier being on road level, working down towards the beach. The top tier and the second one down have all their own private balconies. All others have either, no balcony, or a balcony with 'RIGHT OF WAY' for other 'Both worlds' guest. This apartment has a very large. private balcony, approximately 20 sq mt./yd(25 x 7ft).It consists of three double bedrooms, sleeping six. It has a small but fully functioning Kitchen with an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and fridge. All utensils and linen supplied. Bathroom, with bath, shower and toilet and hand basin. The living room has a large three piece suite, a large occasional table, television with English and Spanish speaking channels and DVD player. As the apartment has an eastern elevation it catches the sun well into evening. Familiar sights from the balcony are navel patrols protecting our shores or cruise liners coming in for a closer look at the rock.

GIBRALTAR: : The gateway to the Mediterranean is a very popular seaport for cruise ships. It played a major part in WW11, with regular tours of the large bore cannons, tunnels and caves excavated for that purpose. Gibraltar is also steeped in history as it has strong ties with Nelson's return from Trafalgar and The Marie Celest. Imagine sunbathing on the balcony, a long cool drink in hand, let your mind wander. British type bobbys keeping a very low crime rate, the language is English, the currency is sterling, where are you?. Yet with passport in hand, a very short walk and you have left all that behind you and you are in La Linea, a Spanish town as yet unspoilt by the commercialism of tourist. Everything in it is still typically Spanish, The bars The restaurants, the shops and people. Why choose between a holiday in the U.K or in Spain when you can have both.

Clean, well maintained, spacious appartment.

This attractive appartment is very well equipped and has tv entertainment in every room. It boasts a large balcony with a sea view of the beach that has recently been renovated and the Ocean. It's clean and well maintained and the location is fabulous. It has a regular bus service within walking distance and also a Hotel with good restaurant and entertainment on Fridays. There is also a second beach nearby with two popular restaurants too.

The flat is perfect and very convenient. There is a bus stop near the flat, and it is easy to go to everywhere in Gibraltar. The flat is clean and is equipped with full range of utensils and furniture. Les (the owner) is very nice and has patiently answered my questions. I will recommend this flat definitely. : )

Both Worlds is superb

Our apartment was very spacious,3 bedrooms and a large lounge and a well equipped kitchen,it was clean and homely with a fantastic view of the Mediterranean from the large balcony.The bus service is frequent from outside the complex into town,lots to see and do,especially the cablecar to the Rock with its superb panoramic views in every direction. We watched the sunrise over the Med each morning,then breakfast on the balcony at 20c (November) followed by several hours on the clean beach with a brief swim. Could have stayed for much longer than our week! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay Les,many thanks.Peter Bevan.

Great location, spacious, staying again!

It was our first time in Gibraltar & first time ever staying in a apartment. Both of these decisions were good ones! The apartment is in a great, quiet location with easy access to the town by a regular efficient bus service,. The apartment is the perfect place to relax & with just a few steps you are on the beach. The beach is private to the complex and always had plenty of room to lay under the sun and have a dip in the clean clear waters.
Les (the owner) was very easy to contact to arrange booking & to answer any questions we had. He dealt with all of our queries quickly in a polite and friendly manner.
We arrived early to the apartment when it was being cleaned however were able to drop off our baggage so we could set off to explore the local area, There isnt a shop on site however there is a shop on the beachfront near the caleta hotel it has the essentials, bread, milk, drinks etc. There is a supermarket further down the road which is approx 20-25 min walk from the complex. There is a bus stop next to the complex and both the number 4 and 8 will take you to the town market place where there is plenty of places to eat. The market place will also lead you to all the shopping streets where you will find plenty of souvenir shops, jewellers and some familiar shops such as marks and spencers. We went up the rock by cable car and walked to the cable car station from the market place for this excursion. The views from the rock were amazing.
Some evenings we stayed at the apartment and cooked using the oven/microwave in the apartment and dined al fresco on the spacious balcony.
Seeing the sun rise over the sea each morning from the balcony is well recommended
Other evenings we dined out at the ocean village which is a short bus ride via the number 8 bus. There is plently of restaurants and bars there and the bus runs until 9pm. A taxi from the ocean village after 9 cost us around £7.
The number 8 bus will also take you directly to morrissons supermarket which stocks everything you will find in the UK.
We also spent a day across the border in Spain which was very easy. The border crossing is near the airport and involved simply walking through the customs to the other side. We went on Wednesday as you will find a market close to the border selling a range of cheap items such as jewellery and clothing.
The main purpose of our trip was that we were getting married at the alameda gardens & the stay at this apartment made ensured we had a memorable time

Perfect location.

I have been visiting Gibraltar many times over the last few years and its a pleasure to review this apartment. Spacious and restful with the Caleta Hotel nearby for a luxury afternoon high tea, well worth the calories!

It is in a perfect location with a beautiful view of the sea, a large private balcony completes the location. Sunrise and sunsets made for some lovely photography.

Bus service very good into Main Street, last bus runs back at 9pm, but the local taxi service is efficient and reasonable.
We have already booked for our May vacation 2014.

This beach side apartment has it's own large private patio (not all apartments in the complex have there own ). Make sure and ask the question before you book. It faces east across the Mediterranean with panoramic views of the Spanish Sierra Mountains to the north, and the Moroccan Atlas and The RIF Mt to the south. It is five minutes walk to the nearest village, Catalan Bay with shop, bars and restaurants. The town is approximately 2 to 3 kilometers away, five minutes by bus ( the cheapest you have ever seen) which runs every half hour from out side Both Worlds reception area

Golf: There are a number of golf courses within a short drive. SAN ROQUE, SOTOGRANDE, ESTEPONA and MARBELLA, to mention a few

Ski: The Spanish Sierra mountains with ski resorts aren't out of reach by car
