In the heart of beautiful San Francisco's Sunset District, sits our charming, two-bedroom, one-and-one-half bathroom, Edwardian home-away-from-home. This completely remodeled luxury flat faces Golden Gate park and is walking distance to the De Young Museum. The Sunset District has been dubbed the most up and coming district in the city, with shops, restaurants/bars, Golden Gate Park, and the beach at your fingertips.
Equipped with a full gourmet chef's kitchen, our Sunset Suite is prime for short or long stays. For those cold San Francisco nights, the flat has two fireplaces, one in the living room and one in the master bedroom.
We have taken pride in the remodelling as well. Everything has been done top-notch - with granite countertops, brand-new appliances (including washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator), extensive inlaid marble work in kitchen and bathroom, and beautiful hardwood floors throughout the house.
Our slice of San Francisco provides a clean, new home with linens and access to the whole city... ten minutes to downtown and the financial district. The majority of visitors are return visitors... and we cater to small weddings, anniversaries, family reunions, and simple vacations.
Feel free to leave your heart in San Francisco... only to come back and re-find it in our home.
We were lucky enough to spend a weekend here. The property was such a pleasant surprise. There were beautiful views from both front and back windows (so unexpected in the city). Wonderful location! All of the rooms were spacious and beds were super cozy. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. Extra linens/ pillows in all closets made everyone comfortable.
Property owners went above and beyond to make our vacation special.
Loved the local pub "The Little Shamrock". Wonderful atmosphere, great drinks and personable bartenders!
Would Highly recommend property to friends and family. Would certainly love to return to Sunset Suite for our next vacation!!
My family and I were just looking for a place in San Fran that was affordable, yet close to all the "action," and I think we hit the JACKPOT with this place! We arrived on a Friday afternoon and had no trouble finding parking right in front of the apartment. Upon entering, my sister-in-law looked at me and just said, "Wow." I couldn't have agreed more. It was spacious! We were set up on the second floor unit and as we walked up the stairway and into the main living area, I felt like we were stepping back in time. There were six of us and we had more room than we knew what to do with! It was immaculately well kept, with beautiful artwork and glass sculptures throughout the residence. Taymour, the owner, was so gracious and receptive, it was ridiculous. When I told him we had arrived and all was well, he promptly invited us to join his Dad and brother up the street at their family pub, The Little Shamrock, for complimentary drinks. We took his advice and true to his word, there they were, waiting for us with a cold round of Guinness. We felt like royalty. As the weekend progressed, I would periodically shoot Tay texts inquiring about the various sights around town and, the man did not disappoint. He lead us to Muir Woods, across the Golden Gate bridge, and gave us a treasure trove of insight into the some of the coolest bars and restaurants all over town. Yet, three out of the four nights, we ended up back at the "Shammy," playing Trivial Pursuit and marveling at what an incredible deal we had stumble upon. It was truly one the BEST travel experiences I've ever had. If you have the opportunity to nab this place, do it! I've already booked another two weeks at the end of the summer for some R & R, and I can't wait to get back!
This property is beyond expectation. It is spacious, well maintained and the beds are very comfortable- I slept so well! The kitchen had everything we needed. This is a fantastic location away from the hubbub of downtown but close to entrance to Golden Gate Park and lots of good eating options/grocery store. Street parking was easy to find. Tay was wonderful to work with- we felt well taken care of. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Don't forget to pop in the Little Shamrock down the street :)
I could not have asked for anything better than when visiting this beautiful home in the heart of SanFran! Taymour was so friendly and he gave us all the information we needed to travel the city and surrounding areas with ease. It was bigger inside than it looks from the outside and there is a spacious living room and kitchen in back for making any kind of meal if you're not looking to go out (but there are plenty of restaurants, cafes nearby if so desired). The rooms reminded me of a five star hotel with the flavor of a bed and breakfast. Will definitely be going back anytime I'm in the area!
I stayed here for a week with my mother-in-law and my three kids (8,6 and 2)for Spring Break. The apartment was impeccably clean, unexpectedly spacious, and nice quality furnishings. My kids were thrilled to have a bath in the jacuzzi tub at night :) My only regret is that we didn't utilize the space for more than just sleeping- great kitchen and a large, spacious living room/ dining room would have been wonderful if we had been cooking meals or entertaining. But no need to cook! Many restaurants, bakeries, cafes all within a few blocks. We ate somewhere different for every meal, every day. Easy access to public transit only a few blocks away. Lots of cute boutique shops in the neighborhood (with REAL, interesting items- NOT TOURIST JUNK!), Golden Gate Park is across the street with so much to do! My kids loved the Science Academy, playground and old carousel. Wish we had time for the DeYoung. We took the transit downtown a few different days to do touristy stuff, but ended the day with dinner back in our area. It was great to get away from all of that at the end of the day and relax. Absolutely no complaints! Tay was very quick to respond to any questions and a great host. Thank you!
Listing was accurate, more than we expected. My family was thrilled with location, space, and maintenance. Tay was prompt in responding to emails and very cordial to work with. Can't wait to go back.
