Lots of character

We booked this apt. for a week and then made day trips out of Edinburgh to see other parts of Scotland. A very nice young man, Will, was waiting for us when we arrived; and he took his time and went through the features of the apt. An extensive binder was provided with information about the apt. and local attractions, bus schedules, maps, etc. The apt. was well-maintained and very clean. I think "quirky" might be a good adjective for the layout with the three levels, but that provided space for all of us to spread out for some "me" time. The wifi was a little slow. If you book this apt., be prepared for a hike up the cobblestones to get to street level, but the atmosphere of Dean Village is charming. Restaurants and shopping were within a 10-minute walk with about 20-30 minutes up to the Royal Mile. We had no problems with customer service, and The Edinburgh Address staff were great to work with regarding booking and questions. Take into account the hike up the hill, but then you might really want to consider booking this apt.
Owner's Response: Dear Patricia
Thank you so much for your review. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay in the apartment and hope to welcome you again soon. We will investigate the internet speed to see if anything can be done to improve that and thank you for letting us know.
So lovely to hear your comments about the staff, I will pass this on to all of them, especially Will.
Kind regards
Anna
