The bedrooms have each one two king-size extra comfortable beds with side lamps,fans and heating.
The bathroom has a full bath with a shower and washing basin and there is a separated toilet with basin.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a ceramic stove ,oven ,fridge and washing/dreyer machine.
In the middle of the most visited sites of Paris ,next to bus and metro stations.
In front of the building is the entrance of the beautiful Arcades.
Near to the Opera, the Louvre, the Wax Museum Grevin,biggest sales stores of Paris Galeries Lafayette , Public auction room Drouot, Buttes- Montmartre
. Also near art-gallerys, restaurants,live- theatres. Not far from the Express-Railway-Station to Disney-Land.
Supermarket and groceries just around the corner.
My family of four (two adults and two teens) spent Christmas week in this apartment. It was very comfortable for us and I cannot say enough about what a GREAT area it is in. The review directly below this one goes into great detail, so I will not repeat it, but I agree with all of it. Owners Livio and Joelle are extremely gracious and accommodating -- a real pleasure to deal with -- and apartment manager Emmanuelle is the same. Our flight arrived at 7:00 a.m. and no one had stayed in the apartment the week before ours, so they allowed us early entry. So nice! I highly recommend you check out the food shops on Rue Cadet (come out the front door of the apartment and turn right -- it's two streets over), especially the fromagerie (not the first one, but the second one you come to on the right -- about two blocks down), which boasts a lovely selection of cheeses, as well as an extremely helpful female employee who speaks perfect English. I also prefer the boulangerie that is just a little bit further down on the opposite side of the street from the fromagerie. Their "pain amande" is to die for -- and they are a lot more pleasant than the boulanger who is just a few doors down from the apartment on the left (very crabby!). Do be aware there will be A LOT of pre-dawn street noise due to the trash trucks making their rounds, street sweepers, sidewalks being pressure-washed, etc. There is also a lot of ambient light that comes in through the windows, even with the drapes pulled closed. For this reason, be sure to bring earplugs and a sleep mask and you will be fine. The mattress is very comfortable, so that is a big plus. And this is a VERY clean, well-maintained part of town. There are several good supermarkets in the area where you can pick up whatever groceries you want and the kitchen is well-appointed for light cooking. There is no dishwasher, so know you will have to wash your own dishes every day -- and I do agree with the other reviewer that it would be nice to be given more than one dishcloth for the whole week -- and also that the TV should be relocated out of the front bedroom and into the living area (but we never once turned it on). This building has a small elevator, which is terrific for getting your luggage upstairs and also when you don't feel like climbing stairs. We had a wonderful stay in Paris and would definitely rent this apartment again. A big "thank you" to Livio and Joelle for making it available to us for our magical week in Paris!
We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 teens) & stayed for 3 nights at the end of November. We are experienced travelers who travel to Europe (from USA) 1-2 times per year & generally look to stay in apartments and villas.
We booked this apartment based on location, price, and previous reviews and were very satisfied.
Location: Given that our stay was short we were looking for something central & this apartment fit the bill. It was a 15 min walk to the Louvre through these wonderful covered passages; was a short 2-5 min walk to either the 9 or 7 metro lines (which afford stops at several major connecting stations) & a nice 10 min walk to Galleries Lafayette/Printemps. We couldn't have been more central. There are several grocery stores within a 5 min walk with the nearest 1 min away. Also several boulangeries with steps, & a nice market street (Rue Cadet) right around the corner. Restaurants wise we didn't eat in the area but enjoyed drinks at several nearby cafes & there were many small quick serve restaurants on the street.
The Apartment: Exactly as advertised. The pictures were dead on accurate. Livio was very easy to deal with and our initial meeting at the apartment with his manager was very easy. The apartment is very spacious with a large living dining room and two good size bedrooms. While we didn't spend much time here, the lounge features a comfortable sofa & two side chairs. The room also features two julliet balconies that overlook the main street (as does the main bedroom).
The beds in both rooms were very comfortable (I like firm beds). Both feature wardrobes for clothes. The master bedroom also had the TV which is the only thing I would change and move it to the lounge instead so all can watch it (if they desire). Truth be told we never turned it on... but if we were here for longer we probably would have used it.
The bathroom is conveniently split with one room featuring a sink with a good size vanity & bath/shower combo & a separate powder room with toilet & small sink.
The kitchen features all that you would need (though we didn't cook except to prepare light breakfasts). There is a washer/dryer combo though it takes a long time to complete the entire cycle - also don't over stuff the machine. The only thing I would add to the kitchen supply is paper towels/napkins and an additional dish towel.
There is some outside noise as it is on main street but that is to be expected. Overall a wonderful stay.
I recently stayed in this period apartment with three girlfriends. We're aged between 55 and 65 years. The apartment is lovely. It is spacious, well appointed, clean and located in a great spot with fabulous old arcades across the street, metro station nearby and plenty of restaurants around the area. You can walk to the Opera area and Montmartre. The owners made us feel very welcome and organised a driver for us for transport to Versailles, Malmaison and CDG. Beds are very comfortable and it was no problem on pre-arrangement for them to be separated into single beds. The lounge area is spacious and airy with lovely Parisian balconies. The apartment is on the third floor and it has a lift which is not common with other vacation rentals. I was so happy with this apartment that I have booked it again for next year when I'll be visiting Paris with my elderly mother and a couple of friends.
The position was handy to the metro and as easy walk to Montmartre sites. The apartment was large, as well as each room. It was very clean and comfortable. The neighbours let us in and were very helpful. From here we took day trips to Giverny and Bayeux easily. Catching the Metro was convenient and wandering around Paris was delightful. This is a spacious, comfortable and well decorated appartment in central Paris.Lovely high ceilings, original features and full length opening double windows gives the flat a light and airy feel. Bedrooms are generous with very comfortable extra large beds and good quality bedding. Delightfully busy district with restaurants, food shops and an excellent Boulangerie on the doorstep. 3 Metros within few minutes walk. Chartier Brasserie is cheap and cheerful and a fun experience as is next door wine bar Le Zinc des Cavistes. A must is live music at Au Limonaire a couple of streets away. A short taxi ride from Gard du Nord this is an appartment I would happily recommend. The owners speak excellent English and phoned personally to confirm booking which was most reassuring.
A beautiful, cozy apartment right at the heart of Paris. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. You don't feel suffocated compared to hotels. The location was also terrific because you are surrounded by lovely restaurants and shops. Transportation is also within a few blocks away. The only downside is the noise but this is expected. Overall, a wonderful place to stay to enjoy Paris better.
