This large and airy penthouse apartment, with its stunning uninterrupted views of Gibraltar, the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains in Africa, is the perfect location for those looking to be close to the marina with its bars, restaurants, supermarkets and the nightlife. The very popular beach of Bahia del Cristo is just a five minute walk away which has two beach bars, soft yellow sand and shallow waters.

Estepona is a medium sized town located on the Mediterranean coast, just below the stunning Sierra Nevada mountain range. Originally, Estepona lived from fishing, however, it has now branched out into tourism and provides a multitude of beaches, bars, restaurants, shops and yet still maintains its original Spanish feel. The sea front provides miles of glorious beaches with a long beach promenade, whilst the town is beautifully maintained with tree lined streets, spectacular plants, many parks, several children playground areas, open spaces and water fountains on almost every corner! Just a few minutes drive from Estepona you will find yourself within the naturally beautiful countryside of Andalusia. Imagine olive groves, vineyards and you have captured some of the surrounding villages ….. Manilva, with its grapevines as far as the eye can see; or Casares with its olive groves. Head up into the Sierra Bermeja Mountains and see cork-trees that actually line the roads. Altogether it is an ideal base for a memorable holiday.

Tourist attractions: Estepona is also well located to travel to many places … Gibraltar, “The Rock”, offering British styles, a Mediterranean climate and duty free prices! Seville, one of the largest towns in Andalusia with an envious history. Puerto Banus, with its luxury yacht harbour, stunning shopping and nightlife. Marbella with its well-known Golden Mile and old town with great boutique stores and Tapas Bars. The white villages like Casares, Gaucin, Genaguacil etc.. For the Atlantic coast consider Tarifa where the Atlantic Sea metas the Mediterranean Sea or even consider a day trip to Morocco – get to see a bit of Africa!!! You can see, there is so much to do for you, just a short trip away! Notwithstanding the above mentioned multiple choices, if you want to stay in Estepona, and are keen on golf, there are many courses only a few minutes away. Estepona also has a renowned Equestrian centre, should horses be your thing, and you can also go diving, fishing, sailing if you adore the sea!! Altogether it is an ideal base for a memorable holiday.

This fully equipped apartment is a top floor duplex and spans the 8th and 9th floor of the very popular Puerto Paraiso apartment building in the port of Estepona. At the entrance to the building you will find the relaxing swimming pool. This area has been planted with palms and tropical shrubs and flowers and is a great place for lazing around! The apartment also has a second pool, which is more of a sports pool. Also available for use to guests staying in the apartment and is a Padel tennis court (sorry, no rackets provided). . The lounge benefits from air conditioning, Sky TV and a large outside terrace where a dining table and chairs are provided for eating alfresco. It is possible to return into the apartment via a second door which leads into the large galley kitchen. In the lower hallway, there is a downstairs toilet and hand basin. Going upstairs, you will find the double and twin bedrooms – both of which are en suite and air conditioned. The master bedroom also offers a second large terrace where you can sit and enjoy the views out to sea or watch the boats entering and exiting the harbour. We believe this apartment, with its simple unfussy decoration with excellent sea views, to be excellent value for money.

FEELING THE HEAT IN ESTEPONA.

We spent a week here in August with the sun shining every day and the temperature in the mid thirties.
The agent - a friendly and well-spoken Englishman called Martin - gave us a warm welcome and provided us with all the information we needed on arrival.
The apartment is spacious, clean and beautifully positioned with lovely views of the port and the sea. On a clear day you can see the rock of Gibraltar and the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. It's a joy sitting out on one of the two balconies with a morning coffee, lunch or a late night Spanish brandy.
We couldn't fault the facilities - and there were some nice touches like the DVD collection, a selection of books and a box of dominoes!
The only down note - the air conditioning in the main bedroom was faulty, and didn't work for three days until a repair was carried out. Hopefully it's now working properly!
Estepona is a a lovely town with good shops, bars and restaurants and excellent beaches. We recommend the smaller of the two - Playa El Cristo - which is a lovely cove with two good chiringuitos which are ideal for a lunch or a drink.
It's worth paying 10 Euros a day for the use of two sunbeds, a paraol and a table. Life can be enjoyable!
Many of the restaurants and bars in the town serve excellent food. We found the ones around the puerto were more expensive and not so good. Try the little Spanish restaurants in the town centre or the back streets instead!
We've now been to Estepona three times and hope to return. We'll certainly recommend our chosen apartment to friends. Try it! You won't be disappointed - as long as the air-conditioning man has done a good job!!

  • A cot and high chair can be rented for 50 Euros for up to two weeks hire. A late arrival charge of 30 Euros is charged for arrivals as of 9pm or 50 Euros for arrivals as of midnight and will be deducted from your security deposit if not paid in cash upon arrival. We have a safe at our office in the port of Estepona if you prefer to pick up the keys from here at no charge. All payments however will need to be made in advance. ALL our properties with AC have a limit on the electricity bill which is included per week. If this limit is exceeded, the amount will be deducted from your security deposit. Wifi Routers are available for Hire (upon previous reservation), 2GB for 60€, 1G for 45€. Recharges are 40€ for 2GB and 25€ for 1GB. For properties, which have ADSL installed there might be a charge of 30€ per week. Where English TV is advertised, we are unable to guarantee this for all of the year 2014 , however, we will do our best to find an alternative solution when the satellites are withdrawn.
