The apartment is located in St.Peter Basilica area on the fifth floor of a 1957 building with lift. Newly restored and panoramic apartment, 300 metres from St. Peter Basilica. The apartment has a large entrance, a large bedroom with double bed and a living corner with a double sofa bed. It has a dining room with a kitchen a large bathroom with a shower, clothes closet. It's equipped with SAT-TV, microwave,washing machine, air conditioning, iron with ironing board, hair-dryer.From the balcony of the bedroom you can see the majestic St. Peter Cupola, the biggest of Rome. It takes few minutes walking to reach St. Angelo Castle, Navona Square, Campo de' Fiori,Trastevere and most of the historical Rome. This charming apartment is perfect for a couple, but can also accommodate a family with child.Pick up service from/to airport possible.

Wonderful Holiday and Apartment

We were looking for a great apartment to stay in for our first visit to Rome, We were celebrating my Wifes 40th and our wedding anniversary so it had to be someplace very special. This apartment exceeded all our expectations. It is located very close to St Peters and all transport to all the sights on Rome. We took the bus from the airport then another bus from the center of rome for one euro and we were dropped off just outside the apartment. The owner welcomed us with a big smile and the apartment was beautiful, clean, bright and airy and made a great base for our sightseeing days ahead. The pictures do not do the apartment justice as in real life everything was of very high quality. There are numerous restaurants just a few hundred yards from the apartment and we eat in a different one each night of our stay, also the apartment is very close to a bakers and a supermarket so we could stock up the fridge and cupboards with fresh food on a daily basis. I cant fault the apartment and the owner made us feel very much at home. We certainly will return again, and maybe make it a yearly occasion, even bring the children when they are a little bit older. Finally just want to thank Salvatore for a wonderful stay and for making my wife and I's first visit to Italy and Rome feel so very much welcome :)

EXCELLENT STAY!!!

Our stay in Rome was perfect. The apartment is very beautiful and nicely decorated. The location is five minutes from the Basilica of St. Peter. The place is very calm and very pleasant. Salvatore is an excellent host and received us very kindly. I also recommend the proposed transport by Salvatore which is great. I strongly recommend this apartment is without doubt one of the best we have ever rented. if we go back to Rome we will stay here again. Thanks Salvatore.

Thanks so much Salvatore - what a great place !!

This appartment is just perfect to stay if you want to explore Rome. It is not far from the Vatican and therefore close to the main attractions. Nonetheless it is also easy to reach downtown by bus as the station of either bus or train are just a few minutes walk from the appartment. Salvatore is just fantastically helpful - he organized our trip back to the airport and also did the print outs for our online check-in. There is a Carrefour just around the corner so that all necessities of the daily life can be fulfilled easily.
I can recommend the Ristorante San Pietro which is just around the corner of the appartment - the food is excellent and it is not expensive. Our guide did recommend a restaurant in Trastevere - named La Scala. Food was fantastic even though slightly more expensive then near our appartment.
I can absolutely recommend this appartment to anyone who is interested in exploring Rome by themselves.
We will surely come back !!! (i have thrown a coin into trevi-fontain, so ... ;-)

Great Apartment and Location - highly recommended

My husband and I stayed here for a few days in early April 2011. The location is perfect - walking distance to the Vatican, historical center and other major sites, and Trastevere. There is also a grocery store within a 2 minute walk. We also loved the balcony where we were table to have our daily tea and relax when we weren't out exploring Rome. A major bus, 64, picks up and drops off very close by as well. To top it off Salvatore was a wonderful host!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Wonderful apartment

Apartment was quite clean. Beautiful balcony which has a nice view of St Peter's dome. Great location with many fine eating places within an easy walk.
Salvatore was a wonderful host, arranging town car service from the airport and to the cruise terminal.
Could not ask for more.
