CALA GALDANA:
Cala Galdana is a village that belongs to Ferreries and Ciutadella and is one of the most beautiful villages in the southern Menorca. Cala Galdana is considered the jewel of Ferreries because its beach is one of the most awesome of the whole island and because of its ravine. The beach is 1.476,38 feet long and 147,64 feet wide. Because of the bay shape, the water is very calm and its temperature is perfect. Moreover, Cala Galdana has received several awards due to the quality of its services and buildings.
In Cala Galdana you will also find a very wide range of bars and restaurants, and many activities to do during your holidays: Scuba Diving, Trekking, Beach Volleyball, Hiking, Horse Riding, Kayaking, Snorkelling, Windsurfing, Sailing, Bicycle Riding. And if you come within the 23, 24 and 25th of August, you will be able to witness Ferreries’ typical fiestas, in which horses walk around the town.
There are buses every hour to Ciutadella and Maó. Taxis are also available at any time.
