An Asian-style entry gate & garden walkway lead to the villa's main pavilion, which houses shady indoor & outdoor living & dining areas, as well as kitchen & powder room. Towanda features eclectic furnishings in a charming melange of Asian, African & Moroccan styles, accented by antiques & primitive art from around the world. Beautifully-crafted Balinese mahogany doors & louvered shutters open this pavilion to the panoramic sea views, accentuating Towanda's style & peaceful setting.

Beyond this main pavilion is the pool & sun deck, with a shaded area & hammock. The villa's inviting pool overlooks a panorama extending from Jost Van Dyke all the way to St Thomas in the distance.

Three ensuite bedrooms are situated in Towanda's 2nd pavilion beyond the pool (2 upstairs, 1 at pool level) to provide excellent privacy, and all open to covered balconies looking out to the sea. Beds are draped with romantic netting, and baths feature double vanities & semi-alfresco showers with views. On the upper level, an exotic waterfall cascades from natural stonework to create a unique outdoor shower for 1 of the bedrooms.

Towanda is conveniently located a few minutes' drive to the beaches of Smugglers & Long Bay, as well as to the quaint community of West End, with shops, boutiques, restaurants & interisland ferries.

PLEASE NOTE: A 4-wheel drive is required due to the steepness of the access road in Belmont Estate. Security deposit is $500 (refundable 45 days after departure). This villa rents for the list price over Thanksgiving (no bedroom-breakdown rates).
