This is an ideal location for exploring Dublin city.No need for transport, all attractions are within walking distance.Set in a quite tree lined street, with its own secure access, and fitted out to a high standard, to ensure a perfect stay.All sheets,towels etc included.Free internet access is provided for your convenience.All modes of transport,tram,train,bus,city bike,taxi rank are within walking distance.

My apartment is in an old Architects drawing office, with high ceilings,huge sash windows and panelled doors.

There is a seperate kitchen with all modern appliances for your catering needs.

Public bicycles are available outside the national concert hall and are very handy for getting around our compact city.

The National concert hall,the national gallery and Trinity college are all within walking distance for all of your cultural needs!

The Royal canal is just around the corner and is a a beautiful place to run,walk,jog or just sit and watch the people and boats pass by.

We can arrange a meet and greet at the airport to bring you direct to the apartment for €50

We have constant hot water , wifi and heat. We provide normal size double beds and a very comfortable IKEA double sofa bed.There is seating for 6 people and enough plates etc and cooking equipment to allow you to eat in whenever you feel like it.

You get what you pay for

I don't like writing negative reviews, but I like to be fair and honest in them as I rely so much on reviews when I book a place to stay. This apartment is definitely well priced, but you do get what you pay for. For the price of 1 hotel room, you get a 2-bedroom apartment that's only a 10 minute walk (or less) to St. Stephen's Green and 15 minutes from the heart of Dublin.

However, you get what you pay for.

- The mattresses are awful. You sit on them and they fall down so you feel like you're sleeping right on the springs. They are hard and lumpy. None of us slept well at all.

- The whole place is not very clean. We had to vacuum up leaves and dirt off the floor when we arrived and wash all the silverware and dishes as they had crusted food on them. The bedskirts and chair cushions and rugs all need a good cleaning.

- The apartment is up 4 flights of stairs. It's not bad, just want to make sure future renters know what to expect.

- The front bedroom has a thin window and is right on the street so the people sleeping in it heard traffic and a dog barking all night. The back bedroom was very quiet.

If you don't mind a little dirt and are not picky about your mattress, then this apartment is a good deal. If you want a great night's sleep or expect cleanliness, I'd look elsewhere.

Owner's Response: Thankyou for your review.All of your points will be actioned imediatley. As can be seen from my many reviews, this is not normal for my apartment. We cange the mattress regularily, although it is difficult to get one to suit all guests. The apartment is fully cleaned after each guest and I will review the quality of the clean with my cleaner. The apartment is the penthouse, so it is up 4 easy flights of stairs.This is as per all descriptions on the web site, The street is a very quiet city centre street, but the house is a listed historic building, so we cannot change the windows and street noise can sometimes be heard. This apartment offers you accomodation for up to 6 people in the best part of Dublin city,with a kitchen, large living room, full bathroom, local guides, 24hr owner contact, all for the price of a hotel room in the same area. I am very sorry for any inconvenience caused, but maybe if you had contacted me during your stay instead of anonymously after your stay, I could have resolved some of the issues raised.

Good location, great host, needs touch up

Andrew is organized, responsive and a great host. The location of the apt is quite good: almost within eyesight of the Luas stop. The price is fair and Andrew is flexible: we organized to check in 2 days early, and modify payments, and he was accommodating and great all through. The unit itself has mattresses more common to college than comfort standards, although I may be the only one to say this. Carpets have not been cleaned for some time and even the bath walls could simply use a wash or paint. That said, when we reported this by email Andrew let us out of our contract instantly, so we moved on -- good for us, good for him. In other words, his care is great. If you want hotel quality mattresses and fixtures these would be elsewhere. So know the positives: lots of space, solid location and easy entrance and exit: privacy, convenience, proximity to downtown. Flexible management. The other details are up to the customer, as always.

As you mentioned by email, the mattress would not suit someone who has an old car accident injury, so I was happy for you to check out early (at my cost). I must have a lot of guests that enjoy "college" mattress standards, as you are the first to comment!! The carpets have a few minor marks on them, but I can assure you they are thoroughly clean, as is everything in the apartment. Andrew

Nice Apt, Great Location

Great value for the money on a beautiful residential street, at the southern end of the City Centre. Walking to everything in the City Centre was easy. Could have used a TV for morning and late night viewing, but we learned to live without it. Infirm people should know that there are a lot of stairs to climb, but our party had no problem. We went on 3 excursions outside of Dublin and they were all great: took a bus to Trim to see its castle and walk along the Boyne River. Took a 6 pub Rural Tour that covered 100 miles over 9 hours. Took a train to Howth and walked part of the Cliff Path.

It was great to have Andrew's apartment to come home to, and we cooked several meals there. All in all, it was a perfect vacation.

Great Location

We stayed at this apartment for the full month of June. It is in a business area that has great coffee shops, restaurants, and great pubs! You are within walking distants to the beautiful St. Stephens Green, Grafton St. Andrew was helpful with sights to take in during our stay. We also took a Big John tour to the Giants Causeway and he was the BEST. We would stay again on our next visit.

Andrew's flat was close to everything, on a quiet street, within walking distance of everything. We thoroughly recommend it: it was very clean and with everything you need. Andrew is a perfect host and I would strongly recommend this apartment.

Lovely home-from-home in the Centre of Dublin

I stayed at Andrews Apartments with my family as we were over to celebrate my younger brother's graduation from Trinity College and this proved to be a perfect pit stop. Being15 mins walk from my brothers on-campus accommodation and right by St. Stephen's Green and Grafton Street - we pretty much wanted for nothing location wise.

We celebrated at the lovely Il Segreto restaurant followed by drinks at The Shelbourne which were both very close meaning we didn't have to stumble home in the early hours.

Very comfortable with lovely decor and furnishings in a gorgeous townhouse - with great attention to detail - we very much felt like we were at staying at a home-from-home. Nice and clean, great location, lovely and warm and Andrew was just great :)

We had a little trouble with the boiler / hot water on the first morning but this was due to the clocks going back I think, the bathroom doesn't have a lock on the door which could do with changing (as I was staying with my Mum, Dad and brothers we had to make sure we were announcing ourselves before going in to avoid any embarrassment!) We needed a double sheet for the sofa bed - Andrew dropped this by immediately and also called the moment I sent a text about the boiler - so over all - any minor issues we had were dealt with immediately.

We were very happy with our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again - thank you for a fabulous base in a fabulous city :)
