Klaasvoogds Cottage offers charming, luxurious, self-catering holiday accommodation.
It is situated on a working wine farm, is light and airy with warm wooden floors, hand made provincial type shutters, beautifully crafted wooden furniture and oil paintings. It has a spacious double bedroom, en-suite bathroom, a separate shower and living/dining and kitchen area with garden, patios and verandah.
It is well suited for long stays with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, satellite TV, CD player, fire place, air conditioner, etc.
Enjoy lovely views of the mountains, vineyards and orchards from every room. On chilly nights settle in with a book in front of a roaring fire. Picnic and walk/cycle along picturesque country roads. As the day cools relax on the porch and watch the fiery sunset give way to a night sky sparkling with stars.
Food and Wine: For really fine dining, walk to BBC featured Fraai Uitzicht 1798 (literally 700 metres away) and enjoy a glorious setting and food to make you swoon. For the lazy it’s a three minute car ride. Twenty minutes away, in Robertson, award-winning chef Reuben Riffel’s Restaurant provides gorgeous food at the exclusive Small Hotel. In Montagu - also twenty minutes away – Jessica’s offers good food but, if its charming you are after, try the courtyard under the 100 year old pear tree at the Four Oaks heritage hotel. There are also a number of other reasonable restaurants.

Had a great time - all we could hope for and more. Beautiful surroundings, blissfully quiet and very tateful, clean cottage. A treat of a place to relax, read, go for walks - and to have a few sneaky swims in the pond. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat and this definitley wasn't our last visit!

Klaasvoogds Cottage is situated on a working farm in the breathtakingly beautiful Klaasvoogds Valley between the charming, heritage-rich towns of Montagu and Robertson in the wine lands of the Western Cape. It is surrounded by sprawling vineyards and orchards and the Langeberg and Riviersonderend Mountains. It is centrally located in the Robertston wine valley on Route 62 within easy reach of many places of interest. It is a lovely 2 hour scenic drive from Cape Town. The area has many well-known and highly regarded wine farms.
Golf: Robertson Golf Course : An 18 hole course with breathtaking views.

The tariffs include a basket of wood, a bathroom kit comprising shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and shower get, a day’s supply of coffee, tea, milk and sugar, use of two cotton bath robes and slippers.
To secure a booking we require 50% of the total accommodation costs.
