Outside:
Playa Verde is a superior built apartment block and the penthouse apartment offers top quality accommodation and an expansive outdoor area. The stunning 5th floor terrace incorporates fabulous views (255 sq metres of terracing) of the beach and sea, marina and wetlands and is the perfect place for a family or group to relax after a day enjoying the island and neighbourhood. A great area to cook and entertain with its fantastic views coupled with the ability to dip into your own private hot tub and enjoy the comfortable outdoor furniture, gardens, outdoor kitchen and eating area. The apartment facilities continue with its communal swimming pools and gardens and paddle ball ‘tennis like’ courts. The swimming pools are open from the beginning of June to the end of september and are manned by a life guard. The terrace is equipped with a top of the range outdoor kitchen with rotisserie and fridge to maximise your alfresco living experience.
For Children:
The island offers a safe environment with vast areas of sandy beaches, quality apartments and hotels with their own designated swimming pools. These basics are a great platform for children to build their holiday enjoyment. The beach is a 2 minute walk. The northern-easterly trade winds predominate in the summer months ensure flat seas, a protected coastline and warm offshore breezes. These conditions are ideal for cruising or sailing and trips to spot the dolphins and turtles. Get them to experience a 90 minute Baywatch-style lifeboat run by Waterproof Adventures of Isla Canela. For those that wish to run the terrain, mountain biking is available either by hiring bikes and exploring or by booking mountain biking sessions - complete with team leader .One can find Adventure Water Parks, please ask us. Theme park Seville whilst over the bridge into Portugal there are two or three water parks.
Golf:
Some superb golf courses are found in the immediate area. The penthouse is some twenty minutes from the new prestigious Jack Nicklaus signature golf and country club at Monte Rei. The club is being marketed as one of the finest international golf courses in Europe. Close by is another superb golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros, at Quinta de Vale. The course opens to the public in October 2007 and is a stunning course. The island of Isla Canela has its own golf course, its an ideal course to start your holiday and a challenge to golfers at all levels. Other excellent courses in the locality include El Rompido, Neuvo Porto in Spain and across the bridge in Portugal there are the further courses of Quinta da Ria, Quinta de Cima and Castro Marim.
