The property is located in Attica, 30klm from Athens, 8klm from Marathon, on the sea front and covers an area of 2.500 square meters. The view is superb and most ot the garden is lawn with flowers and old trees that provide shade.
The 345 square meter house was built by a well-known architect in the 1970’s, on one single level, facing the sea. It consists of the following rooms: A master bedroom, with sitting area or with extra sofa bed, 7.50X5.00m with en suite bathroom. Two bedrooms (one double & one single) 4.00x3.50m, sharing a bathroom with Jacuzzi. Two bedrooms (one twin and one double) 4.00x4.50m sharing a bathroom and a small sitting area with kitchenette. One large living room 10.75X5.00m.
A covered porch of 25sq.m. used as a dining room. It seats 14 persons. A large kitchen with 2 Miele ovens, microwave, 2 separate freezers, 2 large Miele refrigerators and one smaller for drinks, dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning, 8.00x4.00m. A BBQ is available for open air cooking. On a separate level, an apartment of 50sq.m. is used as a service flat. In the back of the garden there is a semi-covered garage for 3 cars. The house is fully furnished and equipped, has central heating, telephone, fax, TV, CD player. We provide cleaning service 3 times per week (x 3 hours)and linen changing weekly.
The well known sandy beach of Scinias (one of the 5 long sandy pine tree beaches of Greece) is at a 10klm drive. The archaeological sites of Marathon and Ramnous are very close, Sounion Poseidon Temple is at at a 20 minutes drive through the new Attiki Odos highway. Getting from Nea Makri to the Acropolis and the main museums of Athens is now easy and quick, especially when combining a 20 minutes drive and 10-15 minutes by the new metro (subway).
Nea Makri is located on Marathon Bay, 35 km from Athens. It is an ideal location for those who love to live by the sea and want easy access to Athens and to the archaeological sites of Attica. The house is situated on the sea front (a road separates it from the beach), just 20 min. walking distance from the village centre, where one has access to supermarkets, dry-cleaners, shops, cinemas, etc. Public transportation (bus) passes in front of the house hourly but a car is recommended.
