Dos Sols is an enchanting 3-bedroom, 4-bath villa nestled on the Leverick Bay hillside on the quiet island of Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. Dos Sols is perfectly suited for couples or families, and lies a few minutes' walk from the beach at Little Leverick Bay, where swimming, sunning & excellent snorkeling may be enjoyed.
The main house offers panoramic views of North Sound and provides a central gathering place for guests. Cool tile floors, 20-foot sliding glass doors & Casablanca fans, coupled with year-round soft tradewinds, make a/c unnecessary. After a day exploring the island, relax in the shade of the porch as you watch the sunset, then stretch out in the hammock and gaze at the evening lights of faraway Anegada.
The comfortable living area, with wood-beamed cathedral ceiling, is decorated with local art & Caribbean furnishings and includes a lending library & CD/stereo. The adjoining den provides additional seating, with cable TV, VCR & an assortment of table games. Dinner seating for 8 is located indoors as well as on the spacious covered patio above the pool. Dos Sols' gourmet kitchen features a center island made of local stone & includes a gas stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, food processor, pasta maker, & a selection of cooking utensils for the most discriminating epicurean! The gas grill on the lower deck is ideal for poolside cookouts.
Guest accommodations at Dos Sols are provided in individual cottages surrounding the freshwater pool & deck, and connect with the main house via stone pathways meandering through the garden. Each cottage has its own large covered porch & mini-fridge, coffeemaker & private outdoor shower. "Sea Aria," with king bed, is ideal for couples and serves as a master suite. "Poolside," on the lower level, has a queen bed, and “Grotto" can accommodate either a couple on a queen bed, or up to 4 individuals with the 2 additional twin beds.
Enjoy the songs of tropical birds and sounds of the surf as you awaken to a spectacular Caribbean sunrise. Stroll through our tropical garden and help yourselves to papaya, grapefruit, limes, oranges, mangoes, soursop, bananas, coconuts & other fruits and vegetables in season. Dos Sols will provide an enchanting setting for an enjoyable & relaxing vacation!
