4 bedroom / 5 bathroom - Infinity pool Villa

The house covers over 7,000 sq ft of both indoor and outdoor living space. The immense and well kept garden, which runs all the way down to the sea, flourishes with an array of tropical plants and palm trees. Shady pergolas on both the east and west sides of the villa provide the perfect spot for some afternoon reading away from the intense sun. Sunrise and Sunset views are a bonus of this east/west facing home.

As you enter this home you will be taken aback by the spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, the glassy bay, the nearby uninhabited smaller islands, reefs and the unspoilt greenery in the distance. Designed to harmonise with the environment, the villa allows you to become one with nature as a large veranda that extends the length of the house connects all the rooms and offers the experience of indoor/outdoor living every step of the way. On the extended veranda is a court yard style garden, separate seating areas and the infinity edged pool.

Bedrooms 1 & 2: All bedrooms are en-suite and have ceiling fans, although the area enjoys constant breeze. The first and second bedrooms are on the right of the main entrance to the villa. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a four poster queen size bed, night stands with lamps and a spacious walk-in closet. The bathroom is furnished with top quality bathroom fittings and an open air shower. The second en-suite bedroom is located close to the first but with ample space between rooms for privacy. These two rooms also have between them a linen closet / storage room. The second bedroom is fitted with a king size metal frame bed, night stands with lamps and a spacious walk-in closet. The bathroom is identical to that of bedroom one.

All of the four en-suite bathrooms are identical in character; they are all very large with open roof showers covered by a mesh.

Dining and living area: Returning to the main entrance of the villa, a stroll under the covered veranda leads to the kitchen, dining and living area whilst walking past the court yard style garden and pool. Although the kitchen and the dining and living areas are separate, there is a feel of uniformity between the rooms similar to that of an open floor concept.

The living room is tastefully furnished with imported Italian sofas, side tables with lamps, a coffee table, television cabinet and other elite tasteful pieces. The dining area is furnished with a hand crafted rustic wooden dining table with two rustic wooden benches and traditional chairs placed at the short ends. The living and indoor dining area have custom made folding wooden doors to allow the house to be kept fully open on both sides or closed for privacy as one chooses.

Bedrooms 3 & 4: The kitchen is just few steps away; it is fitted with professional grade stainless steel appliances including a double door refrigerator, five burner stove, convectional oven, microwave oven and dish washer and other small appliances. The cabinets are Italian and are pure white in colour and topped with marble which was carefully chosen to enhance the space. A large island unit with butchers block adorns the kitchen and includes stools for enjoying casual breakfast or coffee. Adjoining the kitchen is a large pantry.

Further down the large veranda from the living area is the master suite which is accessible from both sides of the Villa. This room has a king size four poster bed, night stands with lamps, lounge chair, walk-in closet and other delicate touches. The bathroom compliments this room as it is decorated with white vanity, walk-in open roof shower and other elegant touches.

A little further is the last bedroom; this room is perfect for children or two sharing.

This newly constructed home is located on the eastern side of the beautiful Caribbean island of Antigua, very close to a small village of typical Antiguan character, named Willikies. The Villa is built within 1.4 acres on a picturesque peninsula and enjoys breathtaking and tranquil panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the nearby bays on both sides.

The location of the villa is on the more peaceful, less populated and unspoiled east side of the island within the Peninsula development, and since Antigua boasts a plethora (over 300) of beaches it is an ideal base to rest and relax after exploring the natural beauties of the island or just “stay at home” and enjoy the tranquillity The Long House offers. The world renowned beach at Half Moon Bay is about a 20 minute drive with the nearest large beach Long Bay being about a10 minute drive away. Devils Bridge and the lush Fig tree drive are all within 15 minute drive as well.
