Photos and Description of the Fiesole vacation villa rental A self-catering rental with a 2000 square meter garden set in the vineyards

CASA FIRENZE-MONTELORO is a splendid rustic typical tuscan country house, set in a lush forest, surrounded by vineyards. The property is minutes from Florence, and the drive to it is a journey into nature through tuscan postcard like settings: hills, cypress tress, woods, olives, vineyards and lots of green & sun. CASA M. has just undergone a complete renovation, finished in January 08. The owner has taken particular care in restoring all its original features, including a log and terracotta tile roof, a giant stone fireplace for romantic winter escapes, new windows to brighten up the whole structure, all typical tuscan furniture to add the touch of a true Chianti experience, an outdoor BBQ, a lounge area to sunbathe, a 2000 square meter garden with pine tress, plants and multicolor flowers. CASA MONTELORO sleeps 5 and comes with linen and bed sheets provided. Cleaning and other expenses not included in rental fee.

Monteloro is easily reachable via road #1, from Florence going north through historic Fiesole - a hilltop ancient Etruscan settlement from which you get an outstanding view of Florence downhill. Fiesole is also famous for its Roman amphitheatre, where you can view open air classical music concerts in summer. Located just 5 minutes further north is our CASA MONTELORO, on the road leaving Fiesole through the countryside. Alternatively, you can take road#2, going east from Florence Highway A1 (exit Firenze Sud), direction Pontassieve. At Sieci turn left and follow signs to Monteloro uphill through awesome cypress forests (about 6km). You can view exact location of the house on Google Earth, please ask for details. Casa Monteloro is a designer's dream with spacious living areas and 3 individually decorated bedrooms. The house is not only comfortable and inviting, but everything works. The furnishings are stylish and very Tuscan. A draw-back for some people would be its location deep in the forested hills above Florence. But for othes, like myself, this was an appealling feature as the drive down these narrow Tuscan roads is a visual paradise. Finally the management is first-class.

pleasant time in Monteloro

we had a wonderful time in this house. The house was great for us as a family. We visited Florence by bus. It was very easy and convenient to do with line 7. We had a great time and hope we will return here once again.

" Certainly lived up to all expectations, beautiful location and villa very well equipped and presented.
Had a wonderful time visiting all the local towns, as well as the most popular places, Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Siena. Would recommend to any interested traveller.

Lovely Stay

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Monteloro and thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Italy.

The house was just lovely and very well equipped and we were very comfortable. Manuela and Andrea were great and there were no problems meeting them - we ended up getting to Florence a couple of hours earlier than expected and they came to meet us ahead of time.

Thank you for all your help organising the rental and I will definitely recommend Casa Monteloro to friends and family.
