Maya's Bajan Villas Inc, located overlooking Maxwell, Christ Church, offers a luxurious yet quaint rental opportunity to people looking for a private getaway for short and long terms periods.

The villa building is two levels, each of which has its own entrance and primary facilities.

Each storey has it's own unique features. The top villa B unit boasts lofted ceilings, open concept kitchen, dining, and living space, four bedrooms, wash room, and private patios. The lower level villa A unit offers open concept entertainment value with sunken living and dining rooms, common wash room, powder room, kitchen with full bar, wired stereo, a master bedroom with en suite bathroom, a large second bedroom, and private patios. Shared features include: laundry, outdoor shower, exterior barbecue, a covered, vented, two-car garage, and spacious front and back yards.

True Bajan Feel and Atmosphere: On site you can enjoy the comforts of home with laundry, clean off your salt and sand with an outdoor shower, and kick up your feet on expansive patio spaces or open concept living.

Waking up for a morning walk to the beach and being greeted by the locals 100% of the time is heart-warming. A local pub, Oistens Fish Market, and their famous Friday night Fish Fry, a grocery store, are all steps away. The St. Lawrence Gap is only a 15 minute walk away.

Why Barbados?: Travelling to Barbados for almost 40 years tells you enough. Being located directly on the ocean did not interest us very much. Choosing a property that allowed us to mix with the locals and live with the locals was paramount in our property purchase.

We did not want to leave

I flew into Barbados a week after my parents. Just returned yesterday from this quaint little beauty. A very comfortable and relaxing home away from home. I enjoyed the location, and the neighbourhood is very nice. I love Barbados, and this villa made me love it even more. I will be back.

Fantastic vacation!

What a wonderful spacious villa. Comfortable clean private. The location is on a quiet and safe residential street. It is within walking distance to beaches supermarkets and other conveniences. It is equipped with everything you need ... Tvs, wifi, BBQ, ceiling fans , A/C and more. We cannot wait to return to Barbados and to enjoy another fantastic vacation while staying at Maya's Bajan Villas. I would definitely recommend this stay. The owners provided excellent customer service as well.

Peaceful, great stay

I was very pleased with my stay at this villa. It is situated on a quiet street . You can walk or take the local bus/taxi to many of Barbados popular beaches and attractions. It is a hop skip and a jump away from local restaurants banks and groceries. The villa is very spacious, nicely furnished and very well equipped (music players, tvs, laundry facilities, bbq etc..) It truly was a very pleasant and relaxing stay and I would definitely recommend staying at this villa. Thank you to Ed the owner who made booking the villa so easy and stress free!!!

Amazing

We visited this villa in the month of December. The place was absolutely stunning, very well maintained and equipped with everything you need. It is conveniently located 10 minutes from the airport on a nice quiet street. It is very easy to get to restaurants, stores, festivals etc...There are a variety of crystal clear beautiful beaches to choose from very close to the villa. One or two that are a couple minutes walk from the villa.

The owners of the property are fantastic people. I will definitely book at this villa again. thank you for the outstanding accommodations. Julie and family

Great Place!!!

We stayed there as we were attending a wedding. We rented the downstairs unit

2 bedrooms and no one was upstairs in the three bedroom vila. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other one queen size and a single bed. There isn't any air conditioning in the unit but there always seemed to be a breeze and most rooms have ceiling fans. The unit came with some basic staples and toilet paper, Kleenex and soap. There isn't any dishwasher. The t.v has over 999 channels so lots of selection and also the internet worked well. The villa is in a residential area and quiet. The place is well maintained and clean. It is cheaper to take a taxi from the airport than have the property manager pick you up. There aren't many restaurants for dinner within walking distance only Charlie's Bar and Grill which opens at 6pm for dinner. There is a supermarket a 20 min. walk away in Oistins. The beach is 3 or 4 blocks away and so is the local bus. The owner provided good customer service and was very nice to deal with. I would recommend this place and go back again. Be sure to go to the Oistins Friday night fish fry only 20 min walk away. For an island tour look into the Scenic Sunday bus tours put on by the Bardados bus company which is only $10.u.s.

Terrific Get-Away

This was our first Caribbean vacation not staying in an all-inclusive. A wonderful introduction to villa vacationing! Great location! Rented a car for the week and this was the perfect base to explore the island.

The villa itself is first rate. Nicely designed, very spacious, well-furnished and fully equipped for our needs. Ceiling fans in every room kept the air circulating well. We loved the use of glass brick to move the light into the interior. And a terrific mattress! Some of the beds where we have stayed previously were barely softer than the tiled floors.

“Must sees” & “go to’s”:

• Charlie’s Restaurant & Bar – just down the street. Great fish and chips and a totally interesting character as the host

• Just Grill’em – several on the island but we went to the one in Rockley and loved it. Fast, very reasonable, and so good!!!

• Ackee Tree – in Rockley. Great rotis…a whole pound.

• Harrison’s Caves – Fantastical tour to a depth of 170 feet. (Don’t go if it has been raining heavily since it will be closed for flooding.)

• Barbados Wildlife Preserve, Surfer’s Point, Animal Flower Cave, Oistens for the Friday night fish fry and crafts people.

We went mostly to Rockley Beach and loved it. Really friendly people, great food (but slow), 2 loungers and an umbrella for $10 for the full day.

Jonathan, the property manager, is fantastic! Picked us up and returned us to the airport. He was a huge help with directions and things to see and do. He even had our rental car at the villa for us. Great service and really nice guy. We found all Bajans we met to be kind and friendly people, but really impressive was that they are the most polite drivers we have ever encountered.

This was a really calm and restful vacation in a beautiful setting. We’ll definitely be back!
