Tudor style , modern and attractive farmhouse , in rural Kent near Tenterden, with plenty of parking, situated in one acre of lawned gardens, (mostly unfenced) surrounded by our own fields, with pond (unfenced) and access to more. Sleeps 14-16 : Add our additional annex close by to sleep 20-24.

Easy access London , M20 (10 miles) local stations(s) and all airports. Private rural location, quiet country lane, yet close to small villages with shops, pubs, post office, doctors and supermarkets, lots of great restaurants and old English pubs. Ideal central Kent location. Tenterden 3 miles. Ashford 10 miles, M20 motorway 10 miles , Easy access to attractions, London and airports.

Large lounge, dining room for 12 - 16 , separate additional dining room, great well set out and equipped kitchen, separate fully equipped utility room, 7 bedrooms plus facility to add beds to create family rooms sleeping additional numbers. Plenty of bathrooms. Downstairs WC. Flatpanel TV Freeview, DVD, additional TV s and DVD s, Football Table. Games and Toys to keep you occupied, high chair , stair gates, and cot(s) on request, Internet Access ( Rural) .

Two patios, with plenty of outdoor seating, barbeque with gas, lots of outside space for football and games, (supplied).Surrounded by its own fields and ponds.

Excellent location for country walks and cycle rides throughout the weald, from local footpaths, and the bridle path at the end of the drive to the well documented pilgrims way.

Ideal family get together. Child friendly.

Please note that whilst this is a great venue for a celebration or get together it is not offered as a party venue, but a family retreat, we welcome all groups to enjoy their stay but advise that to respect our location, outside music, loud music or over exuberance, and drunkenness would be unsuitable behaviour. No Pets. No fireworks. Smoking outside only. Do ask regarding our suitability for your plans before booking.

Close to many popular golf courses, course fishing locations, local vineyards, hop gardens, and many local attractions, as well as shopping, old English pubs, many excellent restaurants of most styles, and take aways.

Local coarse fishing , Cackle Hills , Biddenden, plus Bethersden Carp Lakes, Cranbrook, Bewel water and Lydd for water sports or the sea is only about 20minutes drive.

Tenterden is 3 miles, Ashford town is 10 miles offering a MC Arthur Glen Designer shopping outlet, high speed and International rail links, High Speed to London 35 min and Paris, or take the ferry across the channel for the day or why not take a trip to Lakeside and Bluewater about an hour away

This has been our second stay at this well maintained and equipped holiday home. Very often a returning visit is not as good as the first time, but this was certainly not the case this instance.

As with our first visit, we were personally greeted on arrival by the owner. The large selection of toys games, books and videos has increased and as last time, they kept our grandchildren amused throughout the week.

We would certainly recommend this house to our friends and family or anybody who was looking for a large reasonably priced holiday home.

GREAT RURAL HOME, FELT VERY WELCOME.

Lots of information provided on local things to do. Vast variety of family based games. Cupboards were already stocked on arrival. Lovely size rooms, there were 15 of us and we did not feel crowded. Very comfortable and homely. Owner gave great advise and customer service and was on call for any other questions. We visited Leeds castle on the way down, went through Rye, onto Camber sands and Dover cliffs :)

THE RIGHT CHOICE FOR OUR FAMILY GET-TOGETHER

We had a wonderful week with 14 persons of 3 generations, celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. We all enjoyed the place, following the law 'when the kids have pleasure, the parents have'. The spacious lawns were a fantastic and safe place to run and play. And the few hours the weather was too cold, boxes full of toys were a challenge to discover. In the house, we found ample room for everybody. In short, we made the right choice for our party!

BEAUTIFUL SETTING WITH LOTS OF SPACE

We stayed here as a big family group of 14 and fitted into the house well. The rooms are a nice size and there is enough space for everyone. A little dissapointed with the 'twin room' with a double bed as the two single beds were air beds either side of the double, not the best to sleep on for a whole week. Having said that, the girls slept well on them. There is a lot of things to do in the area to keep all members of the family happy. We visited Camber Sands, Whitstable, Ashford shopping centre, Tankerton Steam Railway, Wingham Zoo and drove round lots of beautiful country lanes. Overall, an enjoyable holiday.

GREAT FAMILY EXPERIENCE

We all had a good time and enjoyed staying at High View. The warmest of welcoms together with such good weather, the freedom of the grounds and such a great part of the world, who could ask for more.
This was our second visit and we will be returning.
Highly recommended to holidaymakers anfd travellers who like to be near a wide range of attractions but also enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.

PERFECT ACCOMMODATION FOR OUR FAMILY WEEK

We loved the open space around the farmhouse which was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The sheer joy of watching the rabbits going about their business. Kent offers many lovely places to visit all within easy reach of the farmhouse. We enjoyed Tenterden, the Aspinall Centre, the Hythe and Dimchurch railway our favourite day out. Tony was excellent to deal with from booking through to the end of our stay. In summary, We were very happy with our choice of accommodation.
