Set within our grounds, with its own enclosed garden area and a private entrance, this recently renovated studio has beautiful views towards Hayfield and across the surrounding countryside. The gate at the rear of our property opens onto a lane leading up into the hills - walkers’ heaven is right on our doorstep.
The studio has one double bed, a sofa, flat screen TV with DVD and FreeView, and a radio and CD player; there’s also a breakfast bar with stools, a gas oven and hob, a fridge with an icebox, and a toaster, kettle and microwave. In the adjoining bathroom, there’s a shower, washbasin and WC. All heating, bed linen and towels are included.
Parking is available for two cars and, as we have a friendly dog ourselves, we welcome guests with one well behaved dog.
Situated close to the picturesque village of Hayfield with its cosy pubs, winding streets and scenic views, and with plenty of potential for walking, fell running, mountain biking, horse riding and rock climbing in the rolling hills and beautiful countryside right on our doorstep, we're in the perfect spot for outdoor enthusiasts. And with the larger towns of Manchester and Sheffield within easy reach, you won't run out of things to see and do.
If you're looking for beautiful scenery and historic homes, on the other hand, look no further than nearby Lyme Park, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, or Edale. Spend an afternoon exploring the famous Blue John Caves of Castleton, then browse the shops for that perfect, unique gift - you won't find Blue John anywhere else. Or visit the nearby spa town of Buxton, treat yourself to a delicious afternoon tea, indulge in an evening of music, theatre, or comedy at Buxton Opera House, or enjoy a film at the Pavilion Arts Centre.
