Situated in a quiet location, but within easy reach of local amenities.Overground station is 5 mins walk. 10 min train journey to Stratford train station and the Olympic site, and a 20 min train journey to Liverpool Street. Travel time from the apartment to St Pancras International, and the Eurostar to Europe is approximately 40 min. Public transport is accessible and flexible with a night bus from Trafalgar Square to within a 5 min walk of the apartment. Easy access to museums, theatres, The London Eye, The London Aquarium, Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London, London Zoo and many more London attractions. A free car park is available.
London Attractions: Liverpool Street Train Station is a 20 min train journey, which will give you access to all major train lines. Stratford Train station is 10 min away with access to the Docklands Light Railway, which provides easy access to the Tower of London, Greenwich Park and the Maritime Museum, The Cutty Sark and river boat sightseeing cruise to Westminster and other major London attractions. There is also a night bus which runs from central London to within 5 min walk of the apartment.
Eurostar: St Pancras international train station is approximately 40 min away by train.
I’m emailing your personal account as I wanted to let you know that we were very pleased with our stay at your flat in August, (21st to 25th). I started to put my review on through Homeaway but it would not let me proceed without creating a “traveller account” with them which I did not want to do. I’ve put my review below.

“We stayed here in August, there were four of us. The accommodation was clean, bright and very comfortable.
The owner was very helpful and we were met immediately on arrival by the owner's brother and sister in law, there was no waiting around to get the keys. All the facilities were as described, we would definitely recommend to friends.
The flat is perfectly located for a day trips to London as the train station is about 5 minutes’ walk away.”
Derek and his brother were absolutely great and attentive hosts. Although we arrived very late, we were still welcomed and greeted at the apartment.
The flat itself was tidy and well furnished - especially the kitchen had lots of equipment, which I really appreciated. We stayed with 6 ppl, as the apartment is stated to house 6-8 people, I must admit that it was very, very narrow and restrictive - 8 people would be way too many, as sleeping on the sofas with more than 1 person wouldn't work very well.
The apartment is located quite far from the city center, which is why we had to pay a lot for public transport - nevertheless the price of the apartment rental itself was absolutely justified and appropriate.
The prior contact with Derek was great, he answered fast and always cared for everything needed.
The reason for the 4 star rating is, however, the bathroom. Unfortunately it was a little hard to arrange the water temperature, the armature of the shower head was quite loose, the water pressure was very low (at least on our opinion, maybe it's common in the UK), the available space within the bathtub/shower was very short and - worst of all - there'd been a lot of mould on the ceiling and around the bathtub.
Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay and the nice contact with the hosts. We would recommend this apartment, if you need a cheap and convenient place to rest while touring through London. :) Thank you!
Well located close to station with frequent trains, and so within good reach of central London and attractions. Flat itself is scrupulously presented and clean. Derek and Robert are welcoming and helpful throughout: milk juice and bottle of wine waiting on arrival. Good layout in the flat, substantial diner/lounge, and ample kitchen. Bathroom showing some signs of wear, but clean and works well. Amazingly quiet, and with good view from lounge/diner. A really good set-up run in a friendly manner.
I cannot praise the service of Derek enough. Vow, last minute changes with our plans and 12.00 mid night checked in - where a gentleman waits with coffee, juice and some breakfast items ready for you in the fridge. Ticks all the boxes , cant think of whats not there in that flat. I would go back again and strongly recommend my friends and family to go there. Any better facility/service thats available around should be compared along with the price as well.
We really enjoyed being taken that evening to the Nearest supermarket to be able to do our yard and we were given good advice on shopping and restaurants, pubs nearby.
The only downside of the apartment is the shower as setting the hot water was difficult (either too hot or too cold) but the rest was very good and we liked the attention of the bottle of wine on arrival... and the owner has always answered our questions by email before we arrived (which train to take to get to the apartment, travel time depending on the chosen airport, potential attractions during our stay ....) here helped a lot. Thanks a lot to Derek for your help !!!
Let me start by saying how GREAT Derek was! He really went out of his way with everything and made our stay great. He was able to accommodate our early arrival and had some breakfast foods in the apartment for us. He was able to answer all of our questions and even sent us an email with all of the info. The apartment was clean, bright and right near the Chadwell Heath train station. Would recommend! Thanks again for everything Derek!!
L'appartamento è vicino a Stratford dove c'è un grande centro commerciale, il centro di Londra è facilmente raggiungibile grazie ai mezzi che funzionano continuamente. I proprietari sono persone splendide, sempre disponibili a qualsiasi chiarimento e soprattutto sono persone serie. L'appartamento non è grandissimo, ma molto comodo e confortevole per 6/8 persone. Absolutly recommanded!
