Kallaloo is a charming 3-bedroom, 3-bath home located in one of the few private enclaves within Virgin Islands National Park boundaries. Nestled in the lush tropical forest, Kallaloo enjoys a striking panoramic sunset view of famed Hawksnest Bay. A short walk leads to the soft white sands of Gibneys Beach (part of Hawksnest Bay).
The centerpiece of this lovely home is the long covered verandah that stretches across the front of the house. An abundance of wicker couches & chairs with colorful print pillows make this an inviting place to read a book or simply take in the breathtaking view. It's also the perfect place for outdoor dining. Down the winding staircase below the verandah is the swimming pool & poolside deck with comfortable chaises & additional dining table.
The interior of Kallaloo features an ample living room with casual yet comfortable island-style furnishings. Adjacent is a small indoor dining area & fully-equipped kitchen. Two spacious bedrooms with queen beds & private baths are located off the verandah; the twin-bedded 3rd bedroom with bath is located off the living room. Behind the house is a stone patio bordered by tropical plants and flowers. Kallaloo's cool, shaded location, coupled with ceiling fans in all the rooms, preclude the need for a/c.
Just minutes from Cruz Bay, with charming shops, boutiques, restaurants, watersports & interisland ferries, Kallaloo is one of the few rental villas on St. John with pedestrian access (1 minute walk) to a spectacular North Shore beach. The other renowned National Park beaches (Cinnamon, Trunk, Maho etc) are all within an easy 5-10-minute drive of Kallaloo.
For friends traveling together, Kallaloo is a 1-minute walk from Terrahawk (CT TER), which is located slightly above on the same driveway.
