The apartment is located in a very SAFE ZONE of central Athens. Metro subway and tram station are very close to the apartment, giving you the opportunity to move quickly and comfortable around Athens in a few minutes and stay in a safe location when walking the night. Tram station is 3 minutes walking distance and metro station is 6 minutes walking distance. Both HISTORICAL SITES and BEACH can be accessed without changing transportations. Acropolis, with acropolis museum and Parthenon, is only 3 minutes away by metro. In case of metro strike use tram or walk to Acropolis. Central Syntagma square, with Greek parliament and tomb of the unknown soldier,is only 4 minutes. Fabulous Thiseion is 5 minutes walking distance from Acropolis Hill and Monastiraki and Plaka is in walking distance from Syntagma square. Using tram train you will have the opportunity to enjoy the view and get to historical sites not accessible by metro like Panathenaic stadium and temple of Olympian Zeus .Using the tram you can also visit five beach of Athens WITHOUT using a car or a taxi. Enjoy a great night in Acropolis and then, come back to our fully furnished and equipped apartment to relax. The apartment is located in the second floor of a new building. It's constructed in the 2007 and decoration and equipment is brand new. The apartment is fully equipped. There is one bedroom, with a 140x200 double bed, and a living-dining room with a sofa bed 140x200, that can fit up to 2 persons. Both rooms have autonomous air condition. The dining table and the living room can fit up to 4 persons. Protect your items in the SAFEBOX. There is a LCD television with Greek and international channels and a dvd player with films. In the living room there is an open plan kitchen, fully equipped for preparing your meal. There is also a coffee maker that can prepare many beverages. There is one bathroom with warm water all day. Washing machine is provided. Free wireless internet and phone line will keep you in touch with your business. Fax service provided upon request.

Nearest Restaurant : NEOS KOSMOS at 150 Metres

Around the apartment and in less than 3 minutes walk you will find all you need for your comfortable stay. There are two supermarkets, two grocery shops with fresh fruits and vegetables, minimarkets opened on Sunday, butcher, candy shop, a bakery shop, five restaurants to taste the Greek Souvlaki and other Greek tastes, a 24h snack café bar and a 24h kiosk. There is also a pharmacy and bank with ATM. Every Saturday there is a flea market in the area with fruits and vegetables. In 3 minutes walk you will find the tram stop and in 6 minutes walk the metro station. In 15 minutes walk there is a multi cinema, also accessible by metro in one minute. Acropolis is 20min walking distance. With metro is 3 minutes.

Tip 1: use the tram train to go to marina Flisvo in the sunset. The view of the sea and yachts is fabulous. You will see many Athenians with their families. Many bars, restaurants and little candy shops are located in the pedestrian street of the marina.

Tip 2: use tram to go swimming in the beach or to see places not accessible by metro, like Panethinaick stadium where olympic games took place in 1896.

Tip 3: use metro to go around Athens and see all the monuments. Don't have to use any taxi. Use metro to go to the airport too.

Tip 4: in case of strike in metro use tram for your movements. If you like to walk Acropolis is 20 minutes walking distance from the apartment.

Tip 5: use metro to go syntagma square. You will find ermou street with many clothing shops.

Excellent alternative to hotel in Athens

We were not disappointed. The location is very convenient for using tram/metro.
Neighborhood is safe and clean. Apartment was well-prepared, clean and tidy. All utensils are there for preparing food, if you feel like cooking.
Owner of the apartment is very nice. He gave a good overview of surroundings and also made valuable suggestions for day trips to nearby islands. He was always easily reachable by phone and e-mail for any questions.
We highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Athens with comfort and without any hassles.
By the way, Athens is really a very beautiful city. At least a week is needed to properly enjoy sights, food and culture. Make sure to visit the Saturday market two streets down from this apartment to experience traditional fish-fruits-vegetable offerings in Greece.

Really lovely apartment in Athens

What a really lovely experience staying in this apartment right from the start, we arrived very late at 01.30 in the morning, Dimitris met us at the door of the apartment, and gave us a very warm welcome, also at this time of the morning he showed us round the apartment and also gave us tips on shopping and sight seeing he was available 24hrs a day and made us feel safe and very welcomed. the apartment itself was very beautiful and clean and practical with a lovely balcony outside. Dimitris also supplied us with an extra be for our 2 teenage children. i would recommend this accommodation to anyone staying Athens . thanks for a lovely time and all your help Dimitris, we hope to return there again soon John

A very nice stay

The apartment, together with the well-chosen photos, was exactly as described on the Internet: comfortable, nicely decorated and very well situated (neither too close, nor too far from the center of athens). We spent two weeks there and had a wonderful time. We would recommend this place without hesitation. Thank you Dimitris and Katerina for your help in everything we needed.

Excellent apartment

I had excellent service with the lessor. Apartment was really nice and neat. There was everything that was promised and even more. Location was also good; near to the metro station, tram stop and bus stop. Area and the building was safe. Apartment is also close to the city center; only 4 minutes by metro. The prices in this area are cheaper than in city centre. There was several supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

Very nice place, we literally felt at home. Close to the subway, the zone is quiet.
We felt like the apartment owner prepared everything for himself - everything is so thought out and comfortable. We don’t like hotels, all the rooms there are the same, therefore we were looking for apartment in Athens, we found this one and do not regret for a minute.
