There is much local history to be discovered walking through the old streets of Antibes. Wonderful old stone buildings, museums, food markets, Bric-a-brac and clothes markets galore.
If you want to explore further afield, the train station in Antibes takes you west along the coast to Cannes, with the designer shops and where the famous film festival takes place. Going east on the train will take you to Monaco and across the border into Ventimiglia in Italy, less than an hour away. Here you will find the cashmere and leather bag markets, a fun day trip.
Juan les Pins is also a lively area, just across the other side of the Cap, 5 minutes drive from the apartment. Famous for its Jazz Festival and sandy beaches. During the evenings Juan les Pins turns into a buzzing place, street entertainers, restaurants, ice-cream parlours & late night clubs.
There are fantastic coastal walks to be taken from the apartment around Cap d'Antibes, a walk up the hill to the lighthouse and chapel must not be missed.
Other Activities: Ski Stations AURON and ISOLA, 90 mins drive for day trips. Golf nearby at Mougins and Biot
