About bruce cecil
I am from the UK, married to Anna, with two young children.
We travel to the property at least twice a year and fall in love a little bit more each time.
bruce cecil purchased this villa in 2008
Why bruce cecil chose Grand Bahama Island
We rented this property in 2008 and thought it was the perfect place for a family holiday. We then found it was for sale and deciced to buy it! We love the combination of luxury accomodation and a relaxed pace of life. It feels secluded but safe and is not far from many, varied activities and fun places to visit when we want to.
What makes this villa unique
We have a list of people who want to buy the place because of it's fantastic location - the property is in a small gated development and has the best position - right on the beach. We love that we can sit on the deck and sip cool drinks and watch our kids playing on the beach, just steps away. When you walk into the property the first time the view of the turquoise ocean through the wall to ceiling glazing in the lounge will take your breath away.
If you can tear yourself away then there are plenty of things to do on the island, including scuba diving, snorkelling, swimming with dolphins, fishing, dining at one of the many restaurants and bars in Lucaya, wandering through the Straw Market, playing golf.
A 'must do' is to go to the Fish Fry at nearby Taino Beach on a Wednesday evening, where you can let your hair down, dance with the locals, if you feel the rythm, and enjoy freshly cooked fish, rice'n'peas, while you watch the sun go down.
Guestbook comments from the owner
My husband and I had a wonderful, restful time at "Paradise". It was simple the best vacation we have ever had. Andrew was great and we got a chance to catch our breath from a very busy year in ministry in Atlanta.
