With stunning river views, the spacious living area has a comfortable double sofa bed, seating and dining for 6, TV, DVD and CD. Waterfront balcony. A separate fully equipped kitchen. Excellent

The property was in a excellent location. Close to the tube and train station. Several restaurants are within walking distance. Great view from the balcony of Big Ben, The London Eye and Thames river. You can easily walk to Big Ben, Westminster area. We were there for a week with our granddaughter and the apartment offered plenty of space.

Perfect Home Away From Home (with a view!)

We had a fabulous stay in Gerry's apartment for a week in March. My husband and I, our two boys, and my mother couldn't have asked for better accommodations.

Gerry was fabulous from our initial inquiry in communicating with us and answering our questions. She met us directly when we stepped out of the tube and acquainted us with her lovely apartment. The location is incredible. We've been to London several times and prefer to be in a quieter neighborhood (i.e. not super touristy) that is still centrally located and convenient to transportation, shopping, etc. This apartment met all of our needs. The added bonus was the incredible view. The photos don't do it justice - it is breathtaking! We enjoyed our evenings with a glass of wine on the deck watching the world go by.

It was also convenient to have a Tesco nearby to pick up groceries for quick breakfasts and the few nights that we had dinner in. Having two young boys, we also appreciated the washer/dryer, movies, and games that Gerry keeps in the apartment. Looking forward to staying here again for future visits.

Wonderful apartment

We visited London at February 2014 about one week and stayed at this apartment. The apartment is lovely just like everyone have told. We have three teenage children and they enjoyed the place very much.
The house owner is very friendly and helpful. Everything was just like agreeded.

Perfect Summer Place in London

We stayed at this perfect apartment in June 2013 for 10 days. The size of the apartment is larger than the pictures seem to indicate, it is light and spacious. The location along the Thames allows beautiful views along the south bank, london eye and houses of parliament. We were able to use the balcony and visit the pub in the complex. As noted by other travelers, the Tube is right outside the door. Gerry was easy to work with (although we didn't get any champagne like other reviewers!). There were a few minor glitches in our check in but Gerry kept me constantly informed via email and phone call. We really enjoyed our week in this apartment and would strongly recommend staying here. Next time we need a place in London, we will absolutely try to stay here and hope that it is available for us.

40th Anniversary

My husband and I were in London to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We stayed in this beautiful apartment for 11 days. As others have said, it’s exactly as advertised. The location is ideal. The tube and rail station access is right outside the building and a bus hub is across the road. There are restaurants and a convenience store on site. And the view!! October/November are not an ideal time to sit outside on the balcony, however, the view from an armchair in front of the French doors was awesome. Each morning we’d watch the traffic on the Thames as we had our coffee. Each evening, we’d have a glass of wine while gazing at the lights of the city, Big Ben and the London Eye.

Gerry, the owner is great. From our initial inquiry, to phone calls, to emails, she was always available to answer questions. On arrival, she greeted us with a bottle of bubbly.

Thanks for everything, Gerry, we had a fabulous time.

Fantastic location on the Thames!

A highly recommended apartment! On our first visit to London five of us stayed here - my husband, 2 boys (aged 8 & 11) & Aunty. Our main priority was finding an affordable & pleasant accomodation for 5 with 2 bathrooms in London. The apartment is exactly as described with photos & located near all amenities - Tesco's, restaurants, buses, transportation & is a lovely walk along either side of the Thames to attractions. We walked to the London Eye the first evening we arrived!

It is a very comfortable apartment & easily accomodates 6 people for a reasonable rate, and in an excellent location. We began each morning and spent evenings on the balcony taking in the activity along the Thames, with the London Eye and Big Ben in the background while enjoying a coffee.

Gerry is most helpful with any questions (we had lots of them, being first timers to London), responds promptly to emails, offers loads of valuable information & is a lovely owner with great hospitality - personally greeting us upon arrival and seeing us off upon departure. Thank you very much for all your help and advice, Gerry! It made our first visit to London a memorable one for all of us! We will be saving your contact information for the next visit! Notes Rates for Christmas and New Year will be set at £295 per night with a minimum booking period of 5 nights. The price is based upon 6 people staying.
A £200 deposit is required to secure a booking. This becomes your security deposit when the balance is paid.
One-off charge of £75 for laundry and general clean.
At times bookings for less than 3 nights possible.
Seasonal rates are based upon 4 people staying using 1 bedroom plus sofa bed in lounge.
By prior agreement an additional double bedroom can be made at an additional cost enabling 6 people to stay.
