Westminster is an area of Central London, set on the north bank of the River Thames. It has a large concentration of London's most historic and prestigious landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, Westminster Cathedral, and the Palace of Westminster, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which houses the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The name 'Westminster' is derived from the West Minster, or monastery church, west of the City of London's St. Paul's. The area has been the seat of the government of England for nearly 1,000 years. The historic core of Westminster is the former Thorney Island on which Westminster Abbey was built. The Abbey became the traditional venue of the coronation of the kings and queens of England. The area has a substantial residential population, a surprisingly large proportion of which is a traditional London working class community living in council and Peabody Trust estates at the back of Westminster Abbey and off Millbank.

Everything you need right on your door step

The unit was very clean and had evertyhing we needed. As a family with two boys it was great to have everything close by. Major attractions within walking distance and Tube stations not to far either. Great little pub across the road.

Grosvenor apartment

The apartment is located 5m from Victoria street and 7min walk from the big ben.

The apartment is fully accessorized with all family needs (and decorates with a good taste too).

Our apartment was located in the 2nd floor (actually it is on the 2 1/2 floor), the stairwell is steep and not so wide, it also has no opening (windows), so it feels a little bit of claustrophobic in there.
So after 6 hours of flight at the middle of the night, to lift 3 heavy suitcases up to the apartment is not an easy task.

But the apartment is big an aired.
It was comfortable to be arrive both from buss and from the underground.

The fact that there was no one who welcom us, face to face at the entrance and at the exit is quit odd, but there was a full internet access with fast (and nice) response from the other side.

Beside the apartment there is a pedestrian-only street with bakery and other helpful stors.

I would definitely recommend anyone with 2-3 kids to stay at this apartment.

Great Location and good size

We recently stayed in the B Unit and found it clean and a good size for our family of 4. The location 1 block from Westminster abbey and Green Park was great as was easy access to the tube. The unit itself came fully furnished and was comfortable. One issue with the unit was that it was very hot. While the weather was nice during our stay, the only way to keep the place cool was to have fans on and keep the windows open. The problem with this is that the area has quite a bit of late night and early morning noise.

The place has a telephone, but for us it could only be used to accept calls. We were advised that it should not have been locked so hopefully that will be fixed and available for others. The unit also had free WiFi access which was great.

In the end, we would use Boutique London Lets again.

Pristine and well located

We stayed in the Grosvenor apartments for a week on the second floor. The apartment was exactly what we needed. Clean, well set out and no fine china we could accidentally break or damage. It was well located and close to the tube station, close to the city, and close to the Thames for the gorgeous ferry rides at hand as well. It was perfect, Hyde Park and Buckingham Place and Harrods all a nice walk away ... loved it!

Amazing apartment in the heart of London

Excellent location, quiet area, brand new kitchen equipment, spotless clean and with all the commodities.
Ideal for families with children or for 4 adults.

We stayed in the apartment on the 2nd floor and although the stairs are easy I would like to point out, for people with disabilities, that there is no lift.

I definitely recomend it and will be booking again next time I go to London.
