Spent my 40th birthday here at this beautiful villa . Together with my husband, two young children, and a few friends we stayed at this villa back in 2009. We enjoyed every minute of this lovely holiday, The property area of the Estate is large with ample room to walk and roam and makes for a peaceful country walk. The home/villa itself is clean, with spacious living areas, and very comfortable accommodations. The owner/rental manager is very attentive, and accessible if need be.
We loved our stay so much we decided to return again this year (just the husband and kids) at the end of June! While many love to flock to Portuguese beaches in the summer, we instead can not wait to stay in the Alentejo countryside. The privacy of this home - its own pool, backyard patio, and stone bbq truly create such a relaxing atmosphere (away from the crowds) so you can enjoy your holidays right from the minute you arrive. Note: the access to incredibly yummy restaurants, wines, and vineyards in the area is actually a closely held secret amongst the Portuguese! My family and I are are definitely counting down the days to our return.... !
