The Waterloo Penthouse is a 2,000 square foot, 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom dwelling, located in one of London's most historic, in-demand areas, Waterloo.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils, pots, pans, instant coffee, tea, sugar, milk potties, oil, salt, and pepper.

The living room is tastefully decorated, with a dining table, six chairs, and two sofas. For entertainment, there's also a flat-screen television, a DVD player, an MP3-compatible stereo, and high-speed internet access without restrictions as to the amount of data transfer taken place. You also have your own personal terrace, overlooking beautiful Waterloo Road and beyond.

Both bedrooms boast Queen-sized beds, with quality mattresses, bedding, and linen, to ensure a good night's rest. Both also boast full en-suite bathrooms, inclusive of showers. In the other bathroom, the main one, there's even a generous-sized bathtub, in addition to a shower.

Guests now has the option to choose between a King size and two Twin size beds. This option is perfect for families with kids who prefer to have their own beds or group of friends.

Local Attractions : South Bank, a significant arts and entertainment district, is only a short walk away. The Old Vic, a historic theatre that was established in 1818, is just 2 minutes by foot from the apartment. The Anchor & Hope, a wonderful, local gastropub, is 5 minutes away. The London Eye, which is Europe's tallest ferris wheel and the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom, is only a short walk away. The Design Museum, famed for being the alleged first museum of modern design, is also in the area. Shakespeare's Globe, a reconstruction of the burned-down Globe Theatre, is one of London's best playhouses. Trafalgar Square, a public space that is often used for political demonstrations and community gatherings, is near to the apartment. Big Ben, the great bell of the clock at the north end of the famed Palace of Westminster, is just across the river.

Nice apartment, good location to Waterloo station, bus services and underground. Clean,spacious and welcoming. Tea and coffee available. The steps to the balcony were high in excess of 20cm steps up to access so you need to be able bodied to access the balconies. The view is good which extends across the Thames and you can see big Ben and the eye which are within walking distance. The amenities are limited with a small number of restaurants nearby; overall would recommend.

NOT AS PRETTY AS THE PICTURE !

This apartment was definitely NOT all as pretty as the pics! The up sides : this apartment is very spacious (could probably sleep about 10-12 if they allowed it) , very nice views from the back balcony, convenient location for public transit (both bus and underground), sliding doors in every room provided awesome cross ventilation.
The down sides out weigh the upsides unfortunately:
Telephone contact with the management company is nearly impossible. Email only. They do answer but it takes some time.
There is no one on site to assist with any issues.
The door codes are the ONLY access to the bldg and the apartment. No keys are issued. If the code pad gets stuck or you forget the code, your stuck until someone in the office answers... GOOD LUCK with that. This was a HUGE safety issue to me. It took too long to enter the 12 digit code in the door. You needed quicker access to the apartment, especially because the apartment is in a little less than desirable neighborhood and the the evenings are shady. There is some sort of shelter across the street.
The hallways and elevators smelled like garbage the entire 8 days we were there and we were inundated with fruit flies that didn't seem to bother anyone else.
The door buzzer didn't work so the journey downstairs to let someone in was fun.
The kitchen cabinets were cracked and the freezer door was broken.
The 3rd bathroom sink had no water at all.
There were 3 forks so one of us used a spoon for dinner.
GOOD LUCK with towels, because even though I had 4 woman in the apartment they argued that 4 towels were enough for an 8 day stay. If I wanted 4 more towels it was 20 pounds which is about 40 us dollars !!! That is nuts! I wasn't buying them, I was borrowing them! No wash clothes or sheets either.... only a fitted sheet on the bed and a comforter.
No A/C... didn't really effect us because it was cool out, but on the last day we were there it was about 80 degrees in the morning and boy did we feel it. There are 2 little fans and the doors open, but it was hot.
The instruction book tells you that there is a linen closet with extra linens in case you need them but it must be a magic closet because I didn't see it.
Mold in the master bath was kinda gross...
Apartment DEFINITELY needs a paint job and the sky lights needs flashing so the water doesn't

Waterloo is a district of London, and also a part of the London Borough of Lambeth. It is connected to the north bank of the River Thames via the Waterloo Bridge, which is so-named as a commemoration to the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. In fact, Waterloo Road, upon which this apartment is located, also dates all the way back to this time, and it was built on land once belonging to the Archbishop of Canterbury. The historical significance of this location really cannot be overstated.

While staying at this apartment, you're within walking distance of some of London's most famed attractions. To name a few, there's the London Eye, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, the Globe (a replica of William Shakespeare's famous play house), and the Design Museum. We also strongly suggest that our guests take a leisurely stroll down the Southbank, with its vast array of festival halls, beautiful art galleries, and other historic buildings.

The apartment will be stocked with basics: coffee (instant), tea, sugar, milk bottles (UHT), oil, salt and pepper. The bathrooms will be stocked with soap, shower gel and toilet paper, and soaps for the washing machine (clothes) and dishwasher are provided also. Standard household items include: coffee plunger, clothes iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and clothes drying horse. All linen is provided including all bedding and blankets, and towels for the bathrooms.
