PLEASE NOTE THAT FOLLOWING NUMEROUS ENQUIRIES , UNFORTUNATELY I AM NOT ABLE TO RENT THE APARTMENT FOR PRIVATE PARTIES/CELEBRATIONS ETC, DUE TO STRICT 'PARTY NOISE' RULES IN THE BUILDING AND ALSO TO AVOID POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY.
The building, 23 Wenlock Road, is located between the area of Angel and Old Street. There is a small park by the entrance of the building and the Wenlock Basin leading to Regents Canal on the apartment side.
The building is located at the same distance between Old Street and Angel underground stations. It is easier to get to Old Street, but you can get to Angel by walking along the canal which is a more pleasant walk but you have to know your way around it. It’s about 10-15 minutes walk from the stations. There is also a close-by bus station to take you to King’s Cross station where you can take the underground to the city centre.
There is a Porter, who is in the building Monday to Saturday from 9am to 4:30 PM.
from the building there is access to a private area along the canal.
Crossing a small bridge to the side of the park and walking along the canal straight there is Angel and the tube station.
OLD STREET TUBE STATION.
Walking out of the building main glass door, turning right to the end of the Wenlock Road to CITY ROAD then turning left until the round-about where the station is.
The underground is the Northern Line (Black). It is two stops to Kings Cross. At Kings Cross there are the Piccadilly Line (3 stop to Covent Garden), Victoria Line, Central Line and Hammersmith and City Line. Approx. 10 minutes journey.
ANGEL TUBE STATION.
Walking along the canal straight toward left Angel and the tube station
The underground is the Northern Line (Black). It is one stop to Kings Cross. At Kings Cross there is the Piccadilly Line (eg.3 stop to Covent Garden). Approx 10-15 minutes journey.
The closest bus station is on City Road. Walk out of the building and turn left. The bus station is right in front at the end of the road.
BUS 205 (direction to Highgate) will take you to Kings Cross Station.
BUSES 205 or 214 (direction to Liverpool Street) will take you to Liverpool Street Station.
On street parking is for residents only from monday to friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm. All other times is free, including saturday. and sundays.
There is a secured parking at the end of the road, approx 100m away. The daily parking rate is approx £7.
LOCAL RESTAURANTS AND SUPERMARKETS
Angel offers a wide range of shops, restaurants and supermarkets.
The area of Shoreditch/Hoxton is located at walking distance and it has become a very popular area during the weekends with its various bars, clubs and restaurants.
The best supermarkets are located just in front of Angel Underground Station. These are:
Marks & Spencer
There is a smaller Sainsbury store and a ‘The Cooperative’ supermarket next to Old Street Underground Station round about. The petrol station at the end of Wenlock Road also sells some supermarket basics.
PARTIES and NOISE. Unfortunately due to very strict noise rules within the building, parties are not allowed in the apartment as the building administration will intervene if any noise complain is raised on the day.

Time is flexible depending on guests travel arrangements, however please confirm at time of booking in case there is a same day change, in which case the time is not flexible.
