Large three bedroom apartments finished and furnished to a high quality standard

Villa Anna is a luxurious development consisting of three large apartments in the town of Milna located to the west of Brac.

The apartment has a large open plan kitchen-dining area and a very comfortable living area with plasma TV. This leads out to a large balcony with a dining area that is perfect for al fresco dining on the warm Adriatic evenings.

Each bedroom has two single beds that can be turned into a double bed with ease. Two of the bedrooms have an en suite while there is an extra bathroom beside the third bedroom. The master bedroom in each apartment has a door leading out to the balcony to enjoy some morning sunrise.

The apartment has its own private garden and BBQ area and a separate parking space. The beautiful pool area is shared.

The garden in the villa has retained plenty of the olive trees that are so common in the area and even an orange tree.

The beautiful town of Milna is only a short walk from the development.

The apartment is located close to the town of Milna and all of it's local amenities. The closest restaurant and shop are only 100m from the apartment. This is only a small shop and larger shops can be found in the town.

There are two marinas in Milna and Villa Anna is located close to the smaller marina. It is possible to berth your boat in this marina for around €50 per night. Likewise, you can rent a boat from this marina if required.

The nearest beach is also very close to the development and is less than a five minute walk. This is a stone beach and there are other beaches within walking distance of the apartments. The coastline around the Milna area is beautiful made up of many inlets and small bays. It is no surprise that diving is popular in this area and one can simply snorkel in the local bay or join the local diving club.

If you fancy a day trip to Split there is a regular catamaran that goes directly from Milna to Split. This is a passenger catamaran so will not take cars. The catamaran takes around 45 - 50 minutes and sails on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday. The catamaran leaves Milna in the morning at 9.15 and returns from Split at 4.30pm. The timetable for Sunday is not as flexible and leaves Split at 6.45pm and returns from Milna at 7.45pm.

There is also a more regular ferry service from Split to Supetar which is the capital town of Brac. These are large car ferries that can travel every two hours during the summer months.

While not a mainstream tourist destination in Croatia, Milna's beautiful coastline and ACI marinas have made it a very popular destination with the sailing community and for those who want to discover the Mediterranean as it once was.

With crystal clear waters set against dramatic valleys winding along the coast, Milna provide the idyllic setting for any occasion. With Vlaska and Duboka Bay within walking distance why not find your own private cove and take in your picturesque surroundings.

Milna is only a short drive from the popular Zlatni Rat beach in Bol along with the rest of the island of Brac. Why not go for a drive and take in other charming towns such as Sutivan or the larger Supetar. There is also a ferry service to Split that provides the ideal opportunity to take in the region's most famous and popular city.

Our family, four grandparents and parents with a baby boy, spent a week in this villa. The house was new, modern, spacious, three large bedrooms all with own bathroom. The area was quiet, the sea view pictoresque, still all restaurants and shops were in a walking distance. We had problems with electricity capacity, but help came in fifteen minutes, so not much reason to complain. This was also the perfect time for a holiday because the weather was good, not too hot but very warm, also not too many tourists. The island of Brac is easy to drive around and there are nice little villages to visit. Our villa manager, Ivan was very helpful and devoted to take care of the guests. Thank you!

Very enjoyable holiday

We (family with kids) had a very enjoyable holiday in Milna in 2011 (August). Its a very nice town that has certainly retained its old charm and is a million miles from London. There is a marina with all sorts of boats so there is a good blend of the old and the new. Most of the restaurants were nice and we didnt have any problems with the prices or quality. Basic meals like spag bol were around £5 and the pizzas in pretty much every restaurant were cheap and looked great. Fish was really the only meal priced similar to home as even a steak was £10 or so. There are two "supermarkets" in the town that provide you with pretty much anything you need. There is a LIDL in Supetar so it might be worth your while stopping there if you are driving. There are also a couple of bakeries which are great for fresh bread throughout the day.

The apartment was first class and I had no complaints. We stayed on the top floor and although not the cheapest accommodation in the world you certainly get what you pay for. Clean, spacious and top quality.throughout. Ivan met us at the apartment to give us keys and was available throughout our stay if we had any questions.

There were only four of us and there was room for another four so I would not be afraid if I was a larger family or two looking to share this apartment. I'd recommend the apartments to anyone although there are steps to the top floor apartment so it might not suit if walking is a difficulty.
