Peaceful village location, 2 minutes to the beach and 4 minutes to the pools

The amazing sea view of Luz Bay and Black Rock sets aside this newly refurbished two bedroom self-catering apartment. Situated in a quiet central location it's just a two minute walk to Luz beach and perfectly situated for the many restaurants and shops in Praia da Luz. A ten minute drive takes you into the historic walled town of Lagos and further afield you can explore the surrounding Algarve towns and beaches, the Monchique mountains and the dramatic Silver Coast.

The apartment is affiliated to the Luz Ocean Club and our guests can enjoy temporary Luz Ocean Club membership. This membership includes checking in and checking out facilities, 24 reception, use of Ocean Club tourist license and access to its four pools (including one heated and one adult only) and leisure facilities.

Golf : 5 championship golf courses dominate the surrounding areas. Discounted rates available through Luz Ocean Club.

Special interest holidays: There's an amazing surf scene around the Western Algarve and the Silver Coast. In addition, apart from the obvious sun and beach, there are many recreational activities including trekking, diving, creative arts and historical excursions.

About Bernie

We are a family of mum and dad and two boys living in North East London who spend most of our weekends playing or watching sport, and all of our holiday's in our lovely apartment in Luz.

Bernie purchased this apartment in 2005
Why Bernie chose Luz

On our first visit to the Algarve we fell in love with the charming Luz town and then went on a mission to find the perfect holiday home spending over a year and numerous visits searching.

As soon as we entered our apartment and we were met by the most incredible panoramic sea view and we knew instantly that this was the place for us. Having completely gutted the place, replacing the 70's decor with clean and modern lines, this lovely quiet apartment makes a wonderful holiday home for any family.

What makes this apartment unique

The location couldn't be more central - three minutes one way to the beach, three minutes the other way to three of the Ocean Clubs four amazing pools and the wonderful Baptiste (think Portuguese Waitrose). There are so many wonderful restaurants in Luz. You could come for a two week holiday and not eat in the same restaurant twice, despite this the town is relaxing and quiet. Opposite the apartment (just 50 steps away) is the newly renovated and family friendly Barocca Bar, a wonderful bar serving great drinks and food. Some of our favourite restaurants include: The Dolphin, Paraiso, O'Antonia, Pizza Real, Fortuelza and The Lime Tree. Further afield is the charming Cachoa restaurant and on into the vibrant town of Lagos - just 10 minutes drive is the amazing marina, a host of restaurants and a buzzing nightlife.

Notes: Not suitable for people with mobility problems as there are a number of stairs leading to the apartment. The owners do use a pram which needs to be carried up and down the stairs.
