LOCK VIEW - CITY CENTRE RIVERSIDE TOWNHOUSE SLEEPS 4

My elderly father and I have just returned from a weeks break in this very pleasant,comfortable property. It is well furnished and situated in a very convenient part of York city...actually 12minutes walk away to the local Marks and Spencer's store.It has a lovely little garden that overlooks the river...bit scary when we were there as they had just had those awful floods and the water level was still pretty high...but I'm sure it would be lovely in the summer,sitting with a few drinks and good food.
The only downfall of our stay was the lack of any contact numbers (except for plumbing and heating issues)in the booklet, should we experience any problems...no tea towels and a very noisy boiler in the twin bedded room.Also, no-one had tuned the t.v in,since the change-over,(o.k for me to do...but maybe a bit more of a challenge for an elderly person? ). It would appear that there are a number of properties let out on this estate and sadly, we seemed to have chosen a time when there were a number of young people renting them out....hence there was much coming and going at all times of the night...with 10-15 of them gathering outside and in the gardens until 2.30ish(a.m)...not really helpful when your trying to get some sleep??? This may sound a bit petty.....but, for such a lovely property...in such a lovely spot...I would be very unhappy if I happened to own one of them?
