Romantic Swiss Chalet built in 2007, ideal for both winter and summer holidays, situated near a river and forest. The property is located in a quiet mountainside location, only 3 minutes away from the ski-lifts, golf courses and up-market resort of Crans-Montana. The ground floor has 2 bedrooms (one with a double and one with two single beds) and a living-room/bedroom with TV/DVD and sofa bed, and two bathrooms. The main floor is open-spaced, composed of main living-room with fireplace, plasma TV screen, satellite, radio,DVD and iPod player, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and visitors' WC. The Top Floor has 2 double bedrooms with TV/DVD and en-suite bathrooms, one with a jacuzzi. Separate laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. Outside there is a beautiful heated balcony with loungers, a garage and sufficient parking for an additional car. The chalet has been beautifully furnished and decorated throughout, creating a luxuriously cosy mountain atmosphere. Outside sauna.

The Valais offers many summer and winter attractions for all ages. Crans-Montana is the sunniest resort in Switzerland, with amazing ski facilities and two international golf courses. Designer shops, supermarkets, ski equipment rental shops, restaurants and bars can be found, for the joy of skiers and non-skiers alike. Possibility to rent a second chalet in the same estate.

  • The chalet has a master bedroom with a double bed, TV/DVD, antique desk and chair, and en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi and shower. There are two other double bedrooms, one with TV/DVD and an en-suite bathroom , and a fourth bedroom with two single beds. There is also a living-room/bedroom with sofa-bed, TV and DVD, ideal for children who thus have their own playroom and TV. All rooms have wooden floors, with under-floor heating and individual thermostats, double-glazing windows, beautiful drapes and built-in cupboards. Notes: The owners have collected statues and furniture from their many travels around the world and have done their utmost to make Chalet El Condor a unique mountain holiday experience. The beautiful kitchen has ample space for preparing meals, storing food and is fully equipped with high quality porcelain and utensils. Sheets and towels are provided and are changed once a week. End of week cleaning is included. The balcony has wonderful loungers and coffee table.Outside terrace with dining table and 8 chairs, barbecue, child's swing and ping-pong (for summer rentals). Outside sauna. No smoking in the chalet please ! There are several restaurants close by and some are willing to provide take away meals.

General information on Crans Montana: The Crans-Montana ski and golf resort is just a 3 minute car or bus ride away from the chalet. The ski season runs from the beginning of December to mid April. The ski slopes cover a huge area and range in altitude between 1500 and 3000 metres. There are 6 cable cars, 6 chairlifts, and numerous button bars, servicing the slopes. The majority of the runs are of an intermediate or easy level, and there are several ski and snowboard schools in the area. Some cross country skiing is possible, including on the Plain Morte glacier at 3000 metres. There is also an outdoor ice skating rink in the centre of Montana and another in Crans. For apres ski there is a plentiful supply of restaurants and bars. And if you wish to venture further afield there are many other ski areas within easy reach. During the warm summer months there are many attractions in the local area, including hiking, cycling, amazing golf, river rafting, swimming, and paragliding. Something for everyone.

Transportation: Although public transportation is very reliable and convenient in Switzerland, we suggest you have a car in order to visit all the attractions of the area.

Ski: Crans Montana has some of the best skiing in the Valais and has the added advantage of being the sunniest resort !

Golf: There are three 18 hole golf courses found in the region, day tickets can be bought for about 40 EUR: in Crans Montana, in Sierre (15 kilometers) and Sion (20 kilometres). Crans Montana also has a 9 hole golf course. For further details, please ask us.

My little girl and I spent a wonderful time enjoying the sun, the scenic walks, the adventure park in the fun forest. The resort has something for everyone. The chalet enjoys a wonderful view, and is romantically furnished and very cosy in the late afternoon. We didn't go to the restaurant because the chalet was very well equipped and it was a pleasure to cook with the mountains surrounding you.
I warmly recommend the Chalet El Condor!
